Overpriced for the quality. Had to send a plate back because the scallops had ice in the center. The fries are curly fries from jack in the box with Parmesan sprinkled on top. Drinks are great but that about it.

Sure I get it. Hot spot in Beverly Hills. But here's the thing, when the smoke clears, good luck. Dined at many amazing places in Beverly Hills and this was the first place that the guest was last on the list. If you are going to have so many rules to dine with you, then you better back it up with service and customer experience. -If the server can't hear what your order is and the guests can't speak to each other....wrong. Turn down the music. Your reasoning for this does not trump reality. If you try and justify, you are wrong. -If you order a first and a second course but they both come out at they same time....wrong. Stop focusing on turning tables over. -serving $70-$300 steaks served with a butter knife, wrong. Also a plate that continues to Cook the steak and you can't touch? Wrong. -If you show up with a party with wealthy 9 figure entrepreneurs and two of them can't come in because of their attire, yet the came from the Waldorf...wrong. -if you are rubbing up against another table and the guests at both tables are uncomfortable because the hostess staff is more focused on turnover and making guest expertise last on the list.....Wrong Honestly the list goes on... 20 years in the restaurant industry, 5 years as owners/operator. and dined all over the world and I have never been more frustrated with a dining experience. Everything was so difficult and was focused on the owners and staff needs rather than the guest. It's called the service industry, not the ego industry. As an establishment you will probably justify reasons for my complaints and make fun of my comments, but the reality is I am not wrong. I was trying to entertain my business guests and you made every step of the way difficult, when it should be the opposite. It's sad that so much talent with front of the house and back of the house is held back by management/ownership. Managers standing around taking selfies during service...wrong. What do I know, I'm just a guest that will never return.

I have been before and had an excellent experience! Unfortunately when I returned for a second time I had a really bad experience. I was sat at the bar and the bartender was not attentive at all. He just kept making drinks and then finally i was able to talk to him and I asked for a recommendation and he would not give me one saying the whole menu was good. I asked again what were the most popular items and he said the $300 Tomahawk steak was the most popular and would not give me any other recommendations. It was like he couldn't give me any more recommendation other than the $300 steak after asking several times and it was obvious he was just doing this for a tip.I finally decided to get up and ask for a manager and then the female manager said she would come to the bar and take my order. The female manager was also in a really bad mood it seemed and didn't seem to have time for me and told another bartender. This was the third person that needed to help me and yes he finally helped me get good recommendations which were the delicious tacos! The food is great and I frequently go to casa Madera as well, but the staff seems very upset and not helpful. Maybe I just went on a bad night. The food is always great, but the service needs improvement and employees should be helpful!

I have always had incredible experiences eating at Toca Madera!! The staff always go out of their way to make sure my friends and I are taken care of. My personal favorite items are the Cesar salad, fish tacos and espresso martinis. I will definitely be returning soon!

Food was not the problem. The service was my issue. I waited 8minutes to be greeted and 10 minutes before I even got ANY WATER. I watched the busser clean 2 tables before even coming with water.. mind you it was a Monday so it wasn’t busy by any means. I got a reservation 30min before I wanted to come in so that should let you know how “busy” it was. Oh btw BE AWARE they try to charge you a 4% tax for a “health” fee make sure you ask them to remove that. I work in the industry so I know what good service should be when you’re charging 50-100$ per person.

Love Toca Madera. Came back to this one and the drink menu has changed. They have removed a drink that I like so much. Also the service was slower this night. My drink took forever to come out. Food was good but just seemed to be off this time. Looking forward to the Houston location!

The ambiance is fantastic, the food is excellent, the service and decor are top-notch. Romantic and exotic, the stunning backyard is perfect for our brunch, love the vegan options (wish there are more) and pet-friendly!

The bar service was extremely slow - we waited 30 minutes to get our drinks and the bartenders were so busy and understaffed, that they did not even want to acknowledge us. By the time we received our drinks, our table was ready for dinner.

Don't like their vibe, too loud, poor layout, drinks look nice but taste horrid, too sugary, overpriced for sure, bad parking situation, didn't feel safe, inattentive staff. Been there a few times. No

The steak and seafood were both over cooked. The prices are outrageous for mediocre quality. The music is loud and only got louder as it got later to the point of obnoxious. They tried to seat us at a high top by the bar until we asked for a real table. The served the wrong drinks and they charge a 4% surcharge for medical insurance. Overall an extremely poor experience and below average food. The prices were insulting and the valet was unprofessional. As we were leaving patrons were coming in dressed in sweatpants. $350 for 2 people is asinine! I won't return...
