Let me just start by saying I'm not crazy about fried chicken. Yeah, I'll have it, but it's not my first choice. Anyways, my man and I came across Tokyo fried chicken on an app. We gave it a shot, and I had 2 tenders and 2 wings before getting back home! It's really that good!! First time here and the service was amazing! We were walked through the menu and guided perfectly to the spicy chicken sandwich, chips and onion dip. Everything was very hot and fresh. It seems like a lot of effort is put in to making such a simple sandwich so complex and delicious! The sandwich is a bit too big for me to finish but I'd rather leave stuffed than looking for more! Overall great experience!

Excellent Japanese style chicken shop. I've spent time in Japan and this is legit food. Plenty of extra sauces and sides available for those so inclined and overall very niche place in heart of DTLA right next to Whole Foods. Recommend.
