The crunchy shrimp tempura roll is by far one of my favorite sushi rolls! The crunchy mixture on top of the sushi is made of heaven. The explosion of flavors when eating this is so delicious and satisfying. I ordered this same roll two days in a row and might eat it again today please if you haven't tried this, please do and order this crunchy shrimp tempura roll!

I went here with my friends for lunch. The place was busy and we had to wait for a table. The service was friendly but slow. The sushi was decent but nothing to write home about. The fish was fresh, but the rice was too mushy. The rolls were creative but too narrow and messy. The prices were reasonable but not cheap. I liked the miso soup and the edamame, but the seaweed salad was bland. Overall, it was an average experience. I might go back if I'm in the area, but I wouldn't go out of my way to eat there.

Food court sushi but restaurant prices. It was tasty in a pinch but doubtful I’ll ever be a repeat customer.

The sushi is sooo good and fresh here. Since I only get delivery I've noticed that it's always packed nicely and they give enough even extra napkins and utensils and soy sauce. Would 100% recommend to try it out!

Solid sushi spot located in Century City. It’s not super cheap; yet, the rolls are fresh and tasty.Vegetarian options: Vegan-friendly

Sushi burrito had nearly an inch of rice (instead of a soy wrapper) all round a few tiny pieces of fish. Certainly NOT a low calorie item as they advertise. No wasabi was included. Probably the worst sushi ever.

Sushi is bland service is nonexistent I didn't expect much from mall sushi but even with the low expectations this was bad. Flavorless and sticky like it's been sitting a while. The kid at the register was staring at his phone with his air pods in and it surprised him when I went to the register. He seemed out of it and spoke so low I could barely hear him. When I went back up he was glued to his phone again , asked for chopsticks, he pointed without saying a word and went back to his phone. Literally staring at his phone for about 10 minutes straight. Horrible service and bland food. Won't be returning.

This is a pre-packaged sushi place inside the food court at the Westfield Century City mall. They make their sushi fresh on the premises, but pre-package them in small batches for sale. This is essentially what markets like Whole Foods and Gelson's do, but Tosai provides a slightly higher quality product. This time I split a Spicy Sriracha Salmon Roll and a Tiger Roll. The Sriracha roll has a very small amount of salmon on top, and the inside was filed with cucumber. The Tiger tool was better. It had a good amount of shrimp on the outside and also on the inside. The avocado was also very fresh and green, not browning at all. They skimp on the ginger just a bit. The next time I'll all for extra ginger.

Super cool place. They made something too spicy one day and without me even asking gave me free food the next time i ordered to make up for it. Which says a lot about them as a company especially in these tough times. Also super tasty food which is why i even went back despite the first lil issue.

Food: 3.5/5 Service and Setting: 4/5 Value: 3/5 I am not sure why, but convenience food always draws my attention even though I know it's probably not going to be great. Tosai is a restaurant in Westfield Century City's food court and sells pre-made sushi. The vibes that I get are sort of like Erewhon meets Mitsuwa and I am all for it. Their sushi display is super clean and they have a pretty good selection of stuff. I went right when they opened so I am not sure if the food sits all day, but seeing someone else wait with me makes me think their stuff is replenished often. Shrimp Tempura Roll: 3.5/5 Okay, so this roll is not bad and I would say that it is as good or maybe slightly better than AYCE sushi. The rice is a little dense since it is chilled, but there is something different about eating fully chilled sushi, you know? The shrimp tempura inside was slightly crispy and the batter held its integrity. The eel sauce and spicy mayo were also good and tasted restaurant quality. I am a cucumber hater and it was a huge plus for me to have a roll that was pre-decucumberfied. For the price, I felt like it was pretty expensive and would be elated to see this in like the $6-8 range. Very solid and I wouldn't hesitate if I had a sushi itch I needed to scratch.

Human Hair rolled into the sushi roll. So disgusting. Normally like this place ate here like 5+ times but after seeing this inside the sushi completely running thru the sushi I will NEVER eat here again.

Hidden gem. The chefs knife work is very impressive. Fish always tastes fresh, and is always expertly prepared. The rice isn't the softest, but I will give them a pass because I know how difficult rice can be.

There is only 1 person taking orders and preparing, he's not washing hands after taking cash. He took forever to make my order and got it wrong. They need to add more people and better sanitary rules...
