Comfort food and a sweet environment, reasonably priced with amazing service. Relaxing, well-prepared cuisine and a place you want to go back to. Nice stong Roman influence.

We celebrated my husband and a close friend's birthdays on Friday. Roberto and his staff( Frankie & Nicky) were the best. We were a party of 8 plus 2 infants. They couldn't have been more attentive. Each dish was so scrumptious. It made our celebration even more special! Thank you Roberto ! You outdid yourself once again. Will be back to celebrate even more special occasions!

The pumpkin raviolis are out of this world! Caprese salad is pretty standard and very yummy. Also ordered the pesto pasta with penne which was very satisfying. #carbediem I ordered to go but picked up in house. Very cute little Italian mom and pop restaurant with free lot parking in front on site!

Best cacio e pepe in the States! I spend a lot of time in Italy and am a pasta snob. Bella Roma SPQR is legit Italian NOT American Italian. Grazie Mille Bella Roma!

The restaurant is better than it’s look, atmosphere, and location suggest.Puttanesca was delicious and a nice portion.Bronzino was thin but yummy.Olive tapenade was quite good.Bread was just okay and could have been warmed better.I definitely plan to return here.

Bella Roma is a warm and welcoming restaurant. The food is spectacular, the service is fantastic and friendly and the prices are more than reasonable. Ingredients are always fresh, pastas are made from scratch and pizzas are made in a pizza oven, and will customize any menu item to your liking. It is regular go to for so many neighborhood families. We will be back.

Food was great! The bread and dip in the beginning was an amazing touch as well. Huge aperol spritz!

I had been coming to this restaurant for years as it's close to my house, well never again! The Chef came out to talk to what seemed to be friends for a couple of minutes and the manager and waitress decided to start yelling at the Chef in front of customers. That was clearly a bad idea because you could taste the anger of the Chef in the food and it is clear he hates working there. The veal milanesa was soggy and burnt, the "grilled" carrots where old and chewy, the spinach looked not wilted but rather depressed and ready to die, the potatoes were dried and tasted like days old, and while things were burnt at the same time everything was cold, not seasoned and simply TERRIBLE! My mom's and my sons entree were also a disgrace, it's one of those restaurants that lives in the past and has 500 things in the menu to appeal to "somebody". The manager was rude, if you HAVE to eat here go for the pizza at least that they still do semi-decent, everything else you will regret for the rest of your life. Simply go eat some real italian food someplace else.

I'm not one to write reviews... but this place deserves it. Best Italian spot in LA. My girlfriend and I came here unexpectedly on a late night during vacation and both agreed it was the best meal we had our entire trip. We even came back again right before we had to fly out of LAX. Both times the food and service were beyond excellent. The chef comes out to talk to you and help you order. Very personal and delightful experience. The prices are so great, we didn't feel like we were overpaying for the first time in California.... If you are thinking of checking this place out, don't hesitate. 5 STARS!

Everybody was very nice, but I felt the Tagliatelle Bolognese was way too salty. I couldn’t sleep that night from heartburn. The appetizers were good, as were my friends’s dinner.Just needed to mention the overly salted Tagliatelle.
