I've been a patron of Versailles for quite some time now, often accompanied by friends who are fans of the establishment. Today, I decided to dine alone while working in the neighborhood. Despite it being a weekend and somewhat crowded, there were plenty of available tables. Started coming here in 1986 while a student at UCLA. Always got #6. Food is still good but feels not as good as before. Prices are high but that seems to be the same everywhere nowadays. Service was good.

Service was a bit curt today, but the food delivered as per usual! It was pretty busy since they closed off Venice for bikers and pedestrians so everyone was at Versailles. There was a line for the bathroom LOL. Got to try the oxtail stew which was super beefy and rich in flavor. Favorite dish is still the lechon asado. Pro tip: ask for a side of the garlic sauce with onions to enhance any dish you get!
