When entering this winchell’s, I saw employee occupied with boxes. I stood by to order patiently prior to working this part time gig nearby. I had 20 minutes to spare to purchase donuts, drive, walk & making it 2 minutes late due to the following:The employee ignored my presence. She stood occupied regardless of my presence. I had to tell her if she could help me because, I wanted to take donuts to my coworkers and I didn’t have much time to spare. It was until then that she still took her time to stop what she was doing to help me. I was the only sole customer inside.Then, as always I bring good luck to places, people started to arrive after me and I left in a rush to get 2 minutes late to my destination. Two minutes this employee delayed from my time. Next time, I will go to the other winchells on Florence Avenue or USA Donuts on Imperial / Paramount Bl, Downey CA 90242.

We make weekly visits here since it's near Nail Time Salon. What can I say? The coffee is the bomb. The pastries and donuts are awesome. But my favorite is a bagel sandwich with garlic bagel. The service here is exceptional, if/when you're helped by the manager. The manager is very polite and professional. This location's greatest problem, however, are the atmosphere. Too many transits hanging around the entrances to beg for money or claims of food/coffee. Second greatest problem are the many employees who doesn't speak nor understand the English language. Don't mistake my gesture, I have no dislike for non-Americans. However, how can you run a business in a predominately English speaking neighborhood with employees who doesn't understand what the customers are asking for? I can't tell you how many times we've asked for lemon pound cake and the employee reached for a cinnamon donut. Fortunately, this is when the manager would help us and even know us by name now.

These are one of those spots where you always know what to expect. A winchells is a winchells. Donuts are always the same and they are solid. I've been frequenting this winchells because I work close by and get donuts and coffee for meetings. They always get the job done. Recommend if you need a quick donut or some dozens for large groups. They also have a been of random things (I hadn't been to a winchells in ages so I was surprised) like sandwiches, jalapeño cream cheese croissants, Salvadoran quesadilla, and idk a lot of stuff lol.

It's Winchell's, easy, cheap and pretty good. And the girls working here are super nice
Been there 2 times and they have good customer service and the line moves fast. They have a lot of different drink options and even some food. I just got a coffee both times with a glazed donut. I would recommend coming early morning for fresh donuts.

Very busy during the morning but the staff moves very fast. Winchells is always my go to place for a quick breakfast sandwich & they do not disappoint, the regular morning staff knows how to make my breakfast sandwich & every once in a while I would get a donut.
