One of the better places for their kimchi. Fresh, good amount of chili paste, and just felt perfect. Tried the seafood soup which was pretty good but used frozen seafood which was expected. "It was really delicious!! Especially the Tteok-Galbi Combo had a smoky aroma that was so appealing. From the texture to the aroma, it's truly a perfect dish. I should definitely enjoy it every time I come to Koreatown!"

The best Seafood Kalgooksoo in LA. I tried so many other Kalgooksoo, but this is by far has the cleanest yet deepest broth. I went when it was raining so it was perfect!! I also had their kimbap that was rolled in eggs and that was soooo good with the broth. Their spicy cold noodle (jjolmyun) was really good as well! the crunch with the cabbage Im 100% sure they don't use msg. A MUST when visiting LA!

It's really tasteless. Please add some seasoning or ramen soup instead. It was probably the most tasteless noodle soup I've had in the 32 years I've lived in the United States. I'm sorry.

I keep hearing great things about this place from my friends and colleague's who live is LA. All i have to say is that this place is worth 5 hour trip from Vegas! You cannot compare the taste of their naemgmyon or ddukgalbi with anyone else.The naengmyon paired with their secret mustard sauce is perfect for the humid/hot weather. If you are in the mood for some hot korean food, the mandu soup and ddukgalbi would be the one I recommend.One of the most unique food items i saw were the egg rolled kimbap. The kimbap filling is filled with fresh vegetables and meat. With the egg coating the whole roll feels complete! ?
We went with the family and ordered chicken kalguksu, egg roll kimbap, tteokgalbi set meal, and cold cold noodles. It was so delicious that we ordered one more to try the jjolmyeon as well. When I eat at other restaurants, I drink a lot of water because of the seasoning, but that's not the case here. In particular, the water cold noodles had a clean broth and the mustard sauce had a special taste, so I enjoyed it very much. I highly recommend it.

My family and I came to LA to look for some good korean food when we came across youngdong. We tried the chicken kalguksu, egg wrapped kimbap, ddukgalbi set, cold naengmyun and every item was phenomenal. It was so good we added an order of jjolmyun too. Especially the naengmyun was nice because the mustard sauce was sweet and tangy. Compared to other naengmyun, theres something thats addicting about youngdong's! Definitely recommend!! 가족끼리 가서 닭칼국수, 계란말이김밥, 떡갈비정식, 물냉면 이렇게 시켰는데 너무 맛있어서 추가로 쫄면도 맛보려고 하나 더 시켰어요. 다른 식당은 먹고 오면 조미료가 들어갔는지 물을 많이 마시게 되는데 여기는 그렇지 않더라구요. 특히 물냉면은 육수도 깔끔하고 겨자소스도 특별한 맛이 나서 너무 맛있게 잘 먹었네요~ 완전강추입니다
The rice cake dumpling soup is perfect for cold whether. I was feeling sick on the car ride here and eating this totally made me feel so much better. It's flavorful and so filling. The soup is super comforting and piping hot. They got you kimchi and radish on the side and they were super nice as well.

It is surprisingly good!! The soup is full of clam flavoring and kimchi is fresh and tasty. The Sujebi is tender. It is a food court, can't ask too much of service but nothing I can complain.

Good soupI ordered the chicken noodle soup to go. Noodles had a good texture, broth was very rich, and they give good portions with two banchan (non spicy and regular kimchi).
