I love this place so much. The food is great and always fresh. They have a large selection of beer and sake to choose from. You can't go wrong with any of the handrolls. I've tried all of them and they are all so so good. My favorites have to be the Yunomi special and spicy tuna tempura. I love the option of choosing from Korean seaweed or Japanese seaweed and if you want your fish spicy or no spicy. You must get the crispy rice albacore. I could eat 2 orders myself. I come here pretty often because they are consistent and always taste so yummy. The staff are also very friendly and helpful. The overall ambiance is cool too, a little hipster because it's located in the arts district, and I love how it is a bar seating only. Solid 9.5/10, would give it a 10/10 but the wait is always so long!

Tried a new handroll spot in Arts District! This handroll bar looks modern and cozy. There was no wait for an early dinner on Saturday. You can order starters, appetizers, individual handrolls, specialty handrolls, or handroll sets. We opted for their handroll sets for an affordable price. Their rolls were thick, loaded with fish. My favorite handroll was tuna, salmon, and scallop! Service was also quick. This is a good spot to go besides Kazunori!

This place is seriously good ! Although the price of sets are a bit of the pricier end, the quality of the hand-rolls and ambience of the restaurant make up for it . There is a bit of waiting if you go during busy hours so make sure to plan accordingly!

While I understand that prices may increase due to inflation, maintaining quality is essential. Unfortunately, my recent experience at this restaurant fell short of expectations. Previously, both dine-in and takeout experiences were satisfactory. However, today's takeout order lacked the same level of presentation. Additionally, the quality of the shrimp, which was once superb, seemed to have declined. Consistency is key, and I hope the restaurant can address these issues.

Love this place. I love hand rolls but sometimes you want a bit more--like hot sides. I love that they have a verity of options. Love their popcorn shrimp and their Brussels sprouts. I've never had to wait very long and often sign up on the Yelp waitlist when I'm on my way to ensure speedy seating. Only drawback is the arts district parking situation

Rather decent selection of rolls , and excellent service. Party of three during a somewhat busy time, and we were still taken care of immediately . Sake choices are few but pretty well selected and diverse. And prices are reasonable. Parking is a nightmare because it's LA ; so prepare to either Uber or pay for that if you want something close by.

Every time we've ordered from the Culver City location the wait time is ridiculously over what they quote. For example we ordered at 7:18pm on a Sunday and did not get our food until 8:30. I understand it's hard to find staff these days, but when you are charging a premium price the service and experience should be on par to that price point.

Great date night spot! Staff was super awesome despite the 90 min wait. I bar hopped a little then had a beer before being seated. Totally cool neighborhood to hangout before grabbing dinner. I fell in love; with the soft shell crab Handroll, salmon skin Handroll, rock shrimp and albacore sashimi in ponzu and few other things. Enjoyed the beer selection and how cool it was inside.

Yunomi is for hand roll lovers. The online reservation was helpful since you get updates on when your seating is ready. The modern industrial atmosphere reflects their food. Simple, minimal, and clean. The ingredients are what make the hand rolls good. What I wasn't prepared for was that the seaweed wraps need to be eaten immediately. Seriously. If you wait a few minutes due to conversation they become challenging for your teeth to tear them. I was told that this is why they serve each hand roll separately and not all at once. The tuna and salmon were good but the Negi Toro was our favorite. They also have a 45 minute time limit on seating at the bar so they can turn those seats. Best for smaller groups that want a quicker meal.

We were craving for sushi but wanted to try something other than Kazunori. Yunomi Handroll in Little Tokyo, downtown LA, came to mind. They were not located in the heart of Little Tokyo so it took us a bit to get to. We got there right when they opened at 12pm so there were no wait time. They also had a 45 min only dine in policy. To get the best deal, the combo set was way to go. We got the 6 pieces set combo and added blue crab, negi toro, and eel. For the combo set, we were able to substitute pieces, but it had to be from either the shrimp or scallops. The food came out quick and was paced based on how fast we ate. The rice was warm and fish were fresh. We felt some pieces had too many green onions, but overall tasted very good. The handrolls were decent in size and the 6 pieces set should be fulfilling for most people. Overall experience was decent. The service started cold and eventually warmed up. The food was good and we would revisit.

Alright hand roll bar. The sets are decently priced, however didn’t care for the scallop hand roll and they should start from the bottom list to the top. The best part was the albacore appetizer.
