I have been ordering pasta at Z Pastabar for many years and also from their various locations in LA.The food is always very tasty, consistent and the portion are very generous. Perfect for lunch and dinner.My fav is the chicken pesto with a side order of extra grilled shrimps making a wonderful surf and turf recipe.The smoke salmon pasta Alfredo and the Shrimp Vodka sauce pasta are excellent !Vegetarian options: Multiple choices of green toppings and vegetables.

Horrible experience . My pasta was soggy and drained in sauce . The mushrooms in huge chunks and canned . The salmon was almost not recognizable - and I think also canned . Mozzarella was throw at the top in solid chunks . Gross

I wished I can provide negative five stars. One of the worst services I have ever been. In general, it was approaching lunch hour. I wanted to try something different. So, I found this place online and order some food for pick up at 1:25 pm. Ingot the confirmation that the food will be ready at 1:25pm. So, I left my office at 1:20 to arrive at the location. I told the person that I am here to pick up my order. I was told that it was not ready. Okay. I understand that you have to wait. 5 minutes past - nothing. 5 more minutes past - nothing. 5 more minutes past - nothing. One of the employees asked my name to find out if the order is ready. Still not ready. I waited for 25 minutes for my order. This is ridiculous. I asked again about my order. One of the employees checked and gave me my order. I was told that to use another website in order to obtain my food faster. Really?! The website I went yo never told me that I had to order through another website. Awful response. Finally, to add insult to injury, one of my orders had spilled on my bag, causing a huge mess. In addition, the food was cold. So, I knew that they were lying to me. I believe it was ready 10 minutes but they did not even try to check. Please do not go to place. Worst place to order food.

Just got the elbow mac n cheese with bacon and ham, truffle oil. Wasn't too oily, which was a plus. Coated the top in cheese and was a solid size portion of bacon/meat. Only complain is the cost for what I got. After tax and fees etc, was like $21. Kind of pricy in my opinion, wasn't delivery either. Place is located in a community ghost kitchen, so you order at a kiosk and then wait for name to be called. Service time was appropriate, 10-12 minutes. Overall, mac n cheese was pretty darn good.

Placed an order on this and waited about an hour for delivery, then my order was canceled telling me the restaurant was closed. Really annoying waiting on lunch for an hour to be told it's closed. They need to keep up with their times on apps. Ridiculous

I ordered the carbonara pasta. First of all, the menu says it has pancetta. I have no idea what that was but it definitely wasn't pancetta. Carbonara doesn't have cream nor does it have mushrooms. I also ordered the fettucine and I didn't get fettucine, I got spaghetti. The taste was sub par. I do not recommend eating from here

Applied for a job, got other offers, then when I asked they said take the other jobs, how professional no wonder the reviews are bad. Bad professionalism from the owner trickles down to bad food. Glad I didn't accept the offer, shows how they value potential employees. Trash like the food they serve. This is a message to the owner, good luck being that stupid.

This is your best bet for high quality, fresh pasta at a very reasonable price. Everything tastes extra fresh and authentic. If you're ever in the downtown area, this is a must-have.
