Terrible customer service! My church recommended to order food from here for a church gathering. When I went to their downtown Los Gatos bigger restaurant (they have a smaller take out location opposite the road) to place a catering order, it was clear that nobody knew anything about their catering services. The lack of willingness to help was shocking. I left feeling upset and disappointed.

I give up on the place. The food is so-so, and don't expect authentic Mexican food. I have gone here for the online ordering and pickup convenience. I order online, give a tip, and every single time, they don't include utensils. I gave it another shot but forgot to remind the person I had picking up the food to make sure there were utensils, something I shouldn't even have to do. Of course, we open the bag and there's nothing (fork, napkins). Multiple plates with enchiladas, rice, beans, etc... Not even a single fork. Nothing like pulling out your lunch for a park picnic a realizing you have no utensils to eat it with. It's absolutely ridiculous. The beef also tasted like fish, which is not only unpleasant but I would guess could be an issue for those with shellfish allergies. They took out the salsa bar, no utensils or napkins.... I'm over the stinginess and greed. I'll take my business elsewhere.

This a great authentic fresh from scratch organic quality Mexican food restaurant. Great food, great service, cool outdoor patio ambiance for a date night, group dinner or lunch, birthday or other special or casual event.

I ordered nachos. What I received was like a cow pie hard disc of cheese atop chips. The cheese was hard. There was no separating of the chips. It was one hard block. Super disappointed. My friend has an allergy to raw/cooked onions and garlic. She asked the server if the meal she selected had onions. The server said "no". Once the food came it was obvious that there were onions in her meal. A different server said "everything we serve has garlic and onions". Nice. Glad my friend isn't deathly allergic. Service - our server disappeared for a long time. We had to flag someone down to get our check. When our server reappeared, she smelled of alcohol and cigarettes. Eww.

It's a Bay Area institution and certainly for Los Gatos. They changed this location from self-serve to table service a few years ago and they have a nice outdoor seating area in the back as well. The expanded menu has also added some nice variety. My usual is the chile relleno which is fantastic, but decided to try the quesabirria which was one of the newere menu items. They were fantastic! Sometimes the shredded beef can be dry and tough, but it was very tender and flavorful. Nicely crisped tortillas, a little bite from the raw onion and nice oozy cheese. Dunked into the consomme is the perfect pairing. We started with guac and chips which usually are pretty good, but last night was slightly watery which also made it a little more bland which was unfortunate. Service was friendly, folks there are usually always with a smile.

Andale The food at Andale is surprisingly good for a place that is not fancy. The 2 locations are almost directly across the street from each other, and have similar food offered. I often get food from the takeout location to take home. My favorites are the chicken enchiladas, and the people at Andale are kind enough to modify them to omit cheese for me. Also the mesquite chicken salad is good, and again for this they can customize without the cheese for me. My husband likes everything on the menu here, including nachos, tacos, burritos and enchiladas. Very good food, lots of flavor, and something quick to take home!

Terrible service, I usually don’t leave negative reviews but be sure to have some patience with this location. To management, your staff on Saturday 3/30/24 should be reviewed on how they speak, treat, and serve customers.Thank you.

Used to live on Broadway about 30 yrs ago, and have been coming in on & off since then. Walked into the larger restaurant the other day and was literally stalked by the guy at the door for searching out some extra salsa at the salsa bar. He schooled me for assuming it was still self-service, and when I reached for the spicy peanut sauce (cachahuate?) I thought he was going to slap my wrist. "...that one costs extra" came a rather condescending voice from over my shoulder. Yikes, what happened here?! Seems like service, portions & quality are in short supply these days. Hope they can turn it around.

It was expensive and the food was only mediocre. The worst part was the cleanliness of the restaurant: filthy. Service was okay but there were just a lot of people waking around looking like they weren't sure what they were doing. Would not recommend and do not intend to go back anytime soon.

I've come here for 30 years but sad to say no longer. They stiff you on meat/Guac on the burrito and quality is so inconsistent now. It's recently sold to a Korean person, no longer Mexican owned. They have definitely cut costs and have different priorities. Adios Andales, it was great while it lasted.

Cozy place. Outdoor seating is great. Food tastes great (I had the vegan burrito). The trio of salsas with the chips are very good.

I went to eat at Andalé Mexican restaurant, and it was terrible. The food was expensive for the small portions, and the waitresses were rude. They even took away my plates before I finished eating.
