Came in from the hotel close by and the hostess was fantastic with suggestions based off my food allergies. One of the best meals I’ve had in a long long time. The hostess was phenomenal as was the staff and food. This is a hidden

I was so lucky to get a spontaneous spot here to eat dinner last night. We sat outside in this lovely, warm and cozy space. The food was outstanding! An excellent beet salad to start with, followed by this amazing artichoke appetizer. Best prepared artichoke I've ever had in my life! For my entree I had Bowl of Soul, which was like a fish stew with plenty of prawns and tender pieces of fish that I suspect might have been sea bass or cod? In any case, it was delicious! My dining partner had the Dungeness crab pasta. I had a little taste and I was blown away. If you're looking for some fine dining and an elevated experience, don't hesitate to come to Asa. I'm looking forward to going back!

ASA Los Gatos is one of our absolute favorite restaurants in the South Bay. The cocktails, food and service are always top-notch. We love the atmosphere in the dining room and the patio is nice when it's warm. I had the bourbon ginger cocktail- perfectly balanced flavor as our server, Sarah, had commented. My scallops and my husband's sea bass were cooked perfectly, full of flavor and beautifully plated. My brother in law, who went to culinary school and is a fabulous cook could not stop talking about how much he loved the “Bowl of Soul!” (seafood stew) A wonderful experience as always!

We had a great dinner here with friends Saturday night. My only complaint would be our dinners took a long time to come out, but we were talking, so it wasn't a big deal. My husband had ordered the double cut pork chop which apparently takes a while to cook. What we all had: Burrata, truffle fries, 2 had scallops, one had the duck, one had beet salad and garlic shrimp and one had crab pasta. All loved their food!

We really like this restaurant however the service is very subpar for such a great spot. It took over 25 minutes for our waiter to take cocktail orders. He then took our starter orders and never came back to take our main dish order. This is our third time and slow service has not been fixed. Hopefully the service picks up SOON!!!

Always a good experience. Can’t go wrong with the mushroom dish. Specials of the day are always very tasty. If you are last minute like us go for outdoor seating, Sylvia is a great server.

I've been to Asa several times before, but last night was a real disappointment. The service was poor, and the food was bad. I'm not sure what was wrong, but I hope it was just an off night.

Another amazing dinner at ASA. Fish and chips is my new favorite app. Food was incredible, recommended wine was perfectly paired with our dishes, service was perfect and we ran into some friends and ended up joining tables and closed the place down. Best restaurant in the area hands down.

Chef Vu’s ice cream ruined all other ice cream for me, nothing will live up to his ice cream ever

Solid choice, but ex$pensive ($$$$$)!!!! The demand is high, and the markup on menu is even more elevated. 6 oysters $36, while across town at another pricey place (Epernay) the same 6 oysters are $24. Andrew?

Went there for Valentine's Day. The staff was pleasant and attentive throughout our experience. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. Looking forward to our next visit.

While the food was ok, the menu was very ordinary and the actual taste of food was very disappointing. An occasional element of a dish was delightful but the the final product was very uninspired and reminded me of the effort of a good home cook.

What an outstanding first visit to AsA. I had the pork chop (4 fingers thick!) my partner had the scallops, and we shared the croquettes and tuna. Lets me tell you about these croquettes, they were the quiet unassuming thief of the show, they were bite that makes you go "Ugnhhgghghgh" and just shut your eyes. Literally everything we had from the food to the wine to the dessert was just outstanding. And on top of the that the staff was great. Sarah is an absolute gem of a human and really knows her business. Was great getting to know her a bit. Will definitely be back in the future.
