Let me start off by saying I never write reviews but feel compelled to do one after our visit.Testarossa for the win! My wife and I (mostly her) have traveled from the East Coast to the West Coast and abroad to visit vineyards or attend tastings. Saying this to say, we know a little about quality wine. We stumbled upon this vineyard while we were in California for a wedding. On an free day prior to the wedding, I was in charge of finding and booking tastings for us (mostly her). I had three tastings lined up for the day and Testarossa was stop #1. I read all the reviews to make a reservation so we did (and highly recommend). We decided on the tour (also highly recommended). It was raining that day, but the sun peeked out for about 7.4 seconds so we optimistically kept the reservation hoping for better weather. The rain continued - c'est la vie. But thankfully, we met our guide, Missy Elliot (not the rapper). She was/is the most knowledgeable, personable, amiable tour guide we ever met. She braved the elements for us, snuck in a few well timed anecdotes, and knew the history of the vineyard as if she lived there. She made Testarossa feel like family. The place was amazing and the wine was fantastic! The nicknames for the silos were hilarious. We sipped, lost track of time, and bought 4-6 bottles of their fine wine. Cannot remember specific amount due to the copious amounts of alcohol in our system. I accidentally broke a wine class and Missy was quick to come with a spray bottle that removed all traces out of my tan shirt. Testarossa is a gem and kudos to them for hiring Missy. She was the bright spot on a rainy day. Needless to say we didn't make it to our next destinations. After the tour, we headed to their patio for a snack. In my humble opinion, Testarossa is better than some of those pretentious vineyards to the north. Do yourself a favor, add them to your travel plans, you won't be disappointed.

Great wine.

Went for wine tasting, unfortunately, it was disappointing, kinda pricey, and almost all the wines were too acidic/sharp for our taste.

The tasting experience and wine bar was lovely. The tasting experience was hosted by Diane who was great. The selection of wines very tasty. The niclaire was a ear favourite!

Visited for the first time a few weeks ago. I can't believe I never visited before despite being an SJ native!Tasting: Fun for a local wine tasting experience, but the tasting room was full of gnats and old/dirty. I would probably skip the tasting next time and just hangout at their wine bar. The state of the tasting room does make me wonder just how clean the wine processing area is, and how many gnats get processed into the wine.... The lady guiding our tasting was friendly and knowledgeable on all their wine offerings, and shared with us the history of the winery. The wine bar:Spacious outdoor patio with wine available by the glass or bottle. We opted for a glass of our favorite from the tasting and shared a charcuterie board. Great local spot for when you don't want to make the trek to Napa for wine tasting, just keep in mind the experience is nothing like the quality you get in Napa Valley.

Peaceful and calm during COVID-19. Reservations only. Friend took me out to wine bar and ordered two charcuterie plates: smoked salmon and cheese plates. It is a cute date/ friend gathering place if you like to talk a lot without the hustle and bustle of the city.

Was a very nice winery and the outdoor setting was very nice. I would certainly try their Cab.

Baffled by the reviews here. Did a wine tasting and the entire experience seemed like I was taking part in a MLM pitch to become a club member. We were in the tasting room, a much less interesting or inviting space than the patio which is reserved for "members only". Pours were quite small and there were a swarm of flies circling us as we sampled the drinks. Our host guiding us through the drinks was friendly but his explanations were continuously interrupted by a staff member coming to "ring the bell" signifying that a new member has joined (the staff all clap on queue) as well as his own periodic pitches for membership. We were in and out in about 30 minutes and really wish we had chosen one of the other areas many local wineries for a more relaxed and scenic experience.

Members here for some time and had an amazing wine tasting afternoon for us and our guests. It was an amazing time. The grounds are always beautiful and the vibe is always real fun here. We did a combo tasting with some wine bar time afterward. Kristin in the tasting room took care of us and she made our experience so fun. She had hosted us with another tasting previously and both times she was fun to spend some time with and very knowledgeable. She was the bomb! Thanks for a fun afternoon.

Wine tasting with friends on Saturday evening, we enjoyed the atmosphere. The wine was delightful, and I love the Red Blend and the Member Pour best!! Great experience.

For a beautiful, friendly place to enjoy wine sipping, it would be hard to beat Testarosa! Parking is a breeze and the walking/steps approach is not difficult. You will find outdoor tables in the shade or sun and the staff is very willing to accommodate you. I do not know if they allow picnics, but the available food is quite delicious... charcuterie platters were very popular. The patio is interestingly designed and floriferous even in very hot weather.Enjoy!

We visited during the day on weekdays after exercising. Since my friend was a member, we applied for a tasting and we were able to taste a lot up wines. From broad daylight on a hot day... You can get drunk quickly even on an empty stomach, so be careful :)We got drunk like running water in the beautiful atmosphere and the kind manager's continuous service. It was a short time, but it was such a sweet dream-like experience.Strongly recommended.

Great wine but beware if you have a stroller or anyone in a wheelchair — google maps shows the wheelchair icon showing ADA compliance but this place is not at all. Lots of stairs up from the parking lot…and no ramp or elevator alternatives

We had a party of 10 for tasting appointment. We did not go into the brick tasting room, cave as I was told we would. First they took us to 2 standing only tables. Then they moved us to another room with a table. No flight menus, no bucket to pour out.$25.00 for 4 pours. What a rip off . It was my birthday. It felt like a bad restaurant. People across from us with large dog. People with children. Save your money. Very disappointed. Will not be back.
