My friend hosted her bridal shower here, and the service was impeccable. They decorated the room and provided a delicious motley of drinks and food. The waitresses would also be helpful and consistently check in throughout the event. I got the iced latte, lychee mimosa, stuffed mushrooms, margarita pizza, italian wedding soup, the tagliatelle with truffle cream sauce, and a nonalcoholic frosé. Everything (esp the stuffed mushrooms and tagliatelle) was fantastic.

I had such a lovely experience here, except for the table of woman to the left corner being so obnoxiously loud that even the tables around us complained to the server. Besides that, here was the good parts: We were sat as soon as we walked in because we had a reservation (HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT). Our server was very attentive and kind. Appetizer: Melted Brie & Roasted Garlic 9/10 The portion of this was amazing, practically a whole brie cheese. The amount of bread was also great. I felt the cheese lacked something but I loved the garlic as it gave it some flavor. Drinks: Frose 11/10 This is what I came here for!! Definitely a must otherwise you're missing out. Mains: Shepard's Pie (specials of the night) 7.5/10 I'm not sure what I was expecting but definitely something more and better. Don't get me wrong, it was still good but not something I'd get again. Mains: Gnocchi Salsiccia 9/10 So creamy and delicious!! The pasta tasted fresh. I only had some as it does have heavy cream. Overall, great experience. I'd come back and try another different main course. 8.5/10 Food 10/10 Services

I kind of hate to say this out loud because it's such a hidden treasure but we threw a little dinner party in the back room of the Pastaria following my daughters engagement, and it was absolutely gorgeous. We didn't need to do any decorating. It was already as beautiful as can be. The food was excellent ( of course) and Donna is wonderful to work with! Even when you forget, that one of your guest is actually vegan... and two more people join at the last minute!!

The pasta was average, go here for the pizza. Food is pricey. Service was sub par. Had to repeatedly call them. Also, heads-up they charge $1 for chili oil, which they don't mention before asking.

Food and ambiance were OK. nothing spectacular. Impersonal service; No warmth. It was our first time. will not be going back anytime soon. not worth the high prices.

Best fettuccine I’ve ever had! It comes with chicken and sun dried tomatoes. The gnocchi & Brie + garlic dip was also amazing. Service was decent and the outside seating with the fireplace lit is the best spot to sit! Will be coming back. Make sure to make a reservation.

This location is incredibly cute! The aesthetic of the restaurant is so aesthetically pleasing. The staff is super wonderful & attentive! I got the Tagliatelle & truffle cream sauce pasta and oh my goodness that was a great dish! Shared a Caesar salad & a burrata appetizer. Everything was super yummy. So happy to have found this gem in Los Gatos.

Popped in for pizza on a Wednesday night. At 8pm we were able to snag a table, but just barely. I saw pics of the burrata pizza with arugula and chili oil and knew we had to try it. The pizza was out really quickly and it was the perfect size for 2. It's real Italian style very thin crust, the sauce was bright and a perfect contrast to the creamy burrata. The arugula helped to lighten things up and had a great peppery flavor. Drizzled over the top was a chili oil and honey! It wasn't too spicy, more garlicky but gave it a nice kick. They have 50% off wine bottles on Wednesday with some amazing choices. The pizza with a nice full bodied red was heavenly. We got a side of meatballs m, they were tender and delicious!! We ended the meal with espresso and tiramisu. I love real tiramisu, I've tried most in the area and this was top notch. Dinner for 2 was approx $100, little pricey for pizza but it was worth it! The owner and our server Westin were so warm and helpful, it was a pleasure visiting. As for the ambiance, it's the old Opa, so it's very narrow. It's decorated in pink, grey and tan, very girly for an Italian restaurant. Do not pass on trying a Frose in the summer, it's not to be missed. What's summer in LG w/o their Frose anyway?

At one time, this was a Los Gatos neighborhood gem...small cozy warm place with personal touch in service. Now it's like a commercial spot as they moved out to the main drag. While they still have a few nice things on the menu but nothing we would wait outside for like before to get a table.

My wife loves pasta, and I wanted to find her something a little more special, so I decided we would try here for a birthday dinner. Slam dunk choice really: What a fantastic little pasteria! The fresh pasta really shines through and puts the dried stuff to shame. We loved both our pasta dishes, the Tagliatelle & Truffle Cream sauce and Pasta Primavera. I imagine it's probably hard to go wrong with any of their pasta, on top of the fresh pasta, the seasonings and cooks were perfection. For appetizers the Melted Brie & Roasted Garlic is to die for, and something I now definitely want to try myself at home. I do recommend they fully cut the bread served with it, the whole half cut "boat" thing was awkward to deal with. The Polenta Fries were also good, especially with the Calabrian Pepper Jelly, but we felt the fries themselves needed a little more salt. And for dessert we were a little disappointed with the Olive Oil Pistachio Cake (still decent), but the Gelatos were top notch! This place is now on our radar and I suspect we'll be coming back soon.Parking: Free parking lot just around the corner. Street parking near it can be hard.Kid-friendliness: No kids menu, but plenty of attractive options from the main menu.
