Great little find on our drive down to the desert. Nothing clicked driving through Barstow, but this came up on a search of local eateries. Not fancy, just great food and service. Brightly decorated for Valentine's Day. Warmly greeted, brought waters and menus quickly. Fresh tortilla chips and some of the best homemade salsa we've ever had (we've had A LOT!). A fine dining establishment out in practically the middle of nowhere, the experience I had at this place was excellent. Wonderful service, delicious food, and hospitable atmosphere rich in Mexican culture. Highly recommend this place for anyone heading towards Big Bear via SR 18, or if you're coming down the mountains. You won't regret the time spent here, I assure you.

This is where we stop to pick up a lot of beans and rice and tortillas to take up to big bear with us. It's so good. Crack a Pacifico or a corona open while you wait. Best food in the area. We always stop and take some home with us back to LA. Secret youll get here and less car sick if you go up the backside to Big Bear and you hit this gem :)
