I was in the area and had to stop by. My husband and I had been coming to Pablo's Kitchen when the original owners were there. The empanadas are the best!!! Pablo was a great cook and the food is still the same.

Food is fantastic. Empanadas and sandwiches are to die for here. Try the Argentinean sausage for grilling so good as well.

Hidden treasure! I've seen the reviews on yelp on how delicious the empanadas are but when I pass by it always looked closed or abandoned. So today I decided to call and a guy who answered said they were open. Sooo happy I came in today. I took the empanadas to go with a chimichurri sauce and they are the best I have ever had, a long with a six pack of quilmes. The empanadas are huge! Flaky on the outside and the filling was out of this world. I had a beef and a chicken and both great. I will be coming back! I just want to tell everyone about this place!it reminded me of the NY bodegas with part deli, part restaurant and part Central American goods.

This place is amazing, such a hidden gem! You must try the empanadas, they are the best I have ever tried. Also the sandwiches are delicious and gigantic. I tried the Submarine sandwich and by far it was the best sub I have ever gotten. The outside and decor is dated, but do not let that stop you from checking it out.

I have been coming here over 30 years with my family for the empanadas. They have to be the best in LA County. This is a place that does a little of everything and does it good. This is part café, part deli and part bodega with hard to find products from south america. This is not a place as a destination for a sit down meal (so don't get you expectations too high), its super quaint with décor added years ago. It's a sin to be in the area and not stop by.

We have been coming here for years - from the original owners to the generations they left the business to. You'll find lots of South American goods here. Prices are reasonable and staff is so friendly. You'll always catch a soccer game on tv here. Our faves have always been their submarine sandwich, milanesa sandwich and their miga sandwiches. Only downer is their hours vary a lot so a call ahead is definitely a must!
