After visiting Nick's, I had a nice time trying the bread, butter cake, shrimp taquitos and the fish burger which I had never even thought of trying before. I added bacon and avocado on it and it was truly a great surprise and I would try it again.

The food is really great and the staff were super friendly. Parking is a bit of an issue but that is just the area.

Our table was outside and we were constantly buzzed by kids on their e-bikes no more than a few feet away from us. At first, no one did anything about the insane level of noise. Finally, I asked our waiter to have the manager confront the kids. They were loud and obnoxious and destroyed the ambience. Management should never allow that to happen to their diners.

We both had excellent steaks! It's in a quaint shopping area with outdoor seating and fire pits. The restaurant itself is very nice; the perfect date night restaurant.

My husband and I wanted something special for Sunday brunch a week before Mother's Day. So we drove a half an hour to Nick's in Manhattan Beach. I had the crispy chicken sandwich with delicious coleslaw and my husband had the prime rib sandwich. Both very delicious and worth the drive.

We were able to park right in front, it was 7p on a Monday so not too busy. Didn't have rest they made accommodations. We waited about 10min give or take just sat at the bar. Wish there was more of a wine selection b ur the few they had seemed good. Briana was our waitress sweet gyal her replacement while she was on lunch was sweet as well, German, forgot his name. Ambiance was between business casual and date night. I wanted the special but they were sold out so I settled with the seabass, it was bland but the garlic spinach and potatoes were bomb. Overall nice experience another one to check off my list.

The French Dip blew me away, and I would absolutely go back for that alone. The service was great and the restaurant felt very upscale and perfect for a birthday dinner.

Update to my earlier review: Was surprised to see a credit on my credit card statement from Nick's of Manhattan beach. Appreciate management acknowledging and correcting the issue. This was a one time misshap based on my experience of dinning at this restaurant for the last 10 years. Thanks!

This is one of our favorite restaurants in the South Bay. The quality is unmatched. It's also kid friendly without sacrificing on the ambiance. The asparagus fries are a must, the entrees are always consistent, the drinks are always excellent. My husband always orders the cheeseburger. I switch it up and have never been disappointed. This time I ordered the bistro plate and the portion was perfect with an amazing salad on the side. The soup of the day was French onion and it was perfection. Thank you Nicks'

We always enjoy coming here with or without our boys. They are super attentive and accommodating when it comes to their orders. This visit our youngest accidentally knocked his plate on the floor and they assisted with calming him down and reassured him that there was no reason to cry. Thankful for the staff that helped us.

Nick's has been one of our favorite restaurants since it opened in this location many years ago. In fact, pre-pandemic it got more charges on our credit card than most other restaurants combined. It is different since the pandemic. Free corkage has gone away. Things are much more costly - in all fairness, however, this is true of every restaurant. It is sad that one of our favorites, the charcuterie plate, is no longer on the menu. That being said, it is still a spot we go often when we decide to go out which isn't as often as it was pre-COVID. We had a delightful evening, but it does get quite loud as the crowd increases in size. And, of course, the butter cake cannot be beat. I would love to be able to order the small steak option, and I would do it if I could have another salad option. I've asked many times but have been told that the other salads are not available which is a shame since I really do not like the one it comes with but love the kale and quinoa option. Are kale and quinoa really that much pricier than lettuce and whatever is on the other salad? We will go back to Nick's, especially now that my hubby's fave, the ribs, seems to be back on the menu.

I love Nick's Manhattan Beach. Great staff, wonderful atmosphere, and close to everything. However, I wish they had a few more vegan friendly options. It would make it a place I'd frequent more often.. As so many places near by do not have vegan options.

The food was tasty, service was on point we decided to sit outside I guess we came a bit late but it was nice evening outside no one really there. Cozy night sitting outside.

I love Nick's I've been so many times. Our waitress was very sweet, very helpful, great customer service. I haven't been to the Manhattan Beach location in years but was in the area and decided to have lunch there. I got the Chilean Seabass and sub the spinach for the bistro salad no almonds. Well my salad had an overwhelming taste of red onions. It was loaded with them. And my Chilean seabass was so salty. I thought it was just me because I am not a salt lover. But when I offered it to my husband who LOVES salt and has high blood pressure lol he even said it was salty. The waitress was so nice I didn't want to complain. So my husband ate it and I worked around the onions in my bistro salad. But I love Nick's so much I will visit them again.
