We've tried several pizza places in Manteca and haven't found one we truly loved...until we tried Mavericks! We tried a mini combo pizza meal and loves it so two days later we ordered a large pepperoni and a Hawaiian pizza for the family and it was awesome! Fresh ingredients, they use good mozzarella, just the right amount of sauce and crust was delicious. So far it is the best pizza we have tried in Manteca and will order again! Delivery only available after 4pm and prices are good. Place is small but was easy to find. I don't know if this place is new because I haven't heard people mention it, but we are so glad we found it and tried!Update: we love it so much we've had it three times in last week and a half!

I tried mavericks for the first time recently since it’s down the street from my grandparents house, and man…. The pizza is my new favorite! It tastes so fresh and is actually CHEAPER than dominoes! After trying them once, I couldn’t wait to get a pizza from there again.

I had this with my daughter after seeing an ad. What a great surprise! Delivered hot! Pepperoni and cheese pizza with lots of melted cheese and delicious pepperoni. We also had the garlic sticks which were yummy, the dessert pizzas were the perfect way to end our "Pizza Party "!

Just went there and ordered pizza asked for the under crust to make sure it was done. And as you can see the pizza is burnt. Because I asked for the crust on the bottom to be done you burn the Pizza. And the crust is still not crispy. I will not be going back. This is the second time I've had bad Experience there. Can't believe this place started out so well and now it's like this. Believe that they would even serve something like this. I just spent over $40 makes me sick

First time trying Maverick's Pizza. I had seen some good Yelp reviews and decided to give it a try. We ordered a large specialty pizza (16 inches) half pepperoni half Mav's Hawaiian. We also ordered the rib tips with bbq sauce on the side. The pizza was very good. The pepperoni side was considerably more greasy than the Hawaiian, so it wasn't as crispy. Next time I would probably ask them to transfer the pizza a few times to get rid of the excess grease. The rib tips were very meaty and cooked well, a great deal for $7.50. They have a lot of different sides, including mozzarella sticks, meatballs, and cheesy bread. It is a very small parlor with only a few tables, so I would opt for takeout unless you are popping in by yourself for a quick meal. The girl helping the counter was very nice, and our pizza came out very quickly. I will definitely be back to try some different pizzas and sides!
