“10/10 would recommend Came her for pho and ended up ordering everything but pho. They had a lot of selections and each one had there own taste I personally likes the sweet and sour chicken! We ordered the red curry, basil fried rice, cucumber salad, and shrimp spring rolls. Everything was delicious.“

Ordered the shrimp cocktail, chicken liver and charred carrot starter. Had Cacio & Pepe, Charmoula and Duck Confit as our main. “The restaurant is located on the second floor of Nerano in Beverly Hills (you have to take an elevator up to the second floor through Nerano). This gives the spot kind of a fun speakeasy feel to it. When you get out of the elevator, you walk into a beautifully designed / decorated, cozy, albeit slightly quirky space. It's not large (I think the capacity is 34). Came here for a food event, which I did a review for separately, but this experience in particular was grabbing a drink at the bar. (I did think the food was delicious though and urge folks to come here and give this place a try. I know I want to come back and try more menu items.) The bar is beautifully designed and organized. I found myself perusing and mentally cataloguing the whiskeys as I always do when I go to new restaurants. But this place looked like a place that has fun cocktails. So I ordered The George Michael. The drinks here are really interactive, and the bartenders are super enthusiastic to the point that it's infectious. My drink in particular had some bowls that floated up and you had to catch it with a paddle. Flavor wise it was like espresso martini with a peanut butter twist to it. All in all this place is a great place to grab drinks and/or food. Lots of fun. There's a lot of street parking nearby, but it could get challenging especially during the weekends. I came in the middle of the week and was able to find parking about a block away.“

“This place from the moment you walk in the front door is beyond amazing! They’ve done an amazing job of setting one heck of secluded Tulum vibe but while being in the thick of it all. No detail was left out from the lush landscaping and impeccable design throughout to the delicious food and cocktail menu topped off with incredible service. We had the Crispy Rice with yellowtail and shishito peppers for starters both were some of the best we’ve had. We also had the sun fire roll and short ribs and all I can say is yum! “This restaurant is affiliated with several sushi restaurants in Los Angeles and Westwood. It is located on the 2F of the H Mart Madong Plaza, and they validate parking. It has only been open for a month, and it appears to be building up a following. Madong Plaza is also the home to several restaurants, Daiso Japan, Cosmetic World, Paris Baguette. It would be worth your while to enjoy a meal at California Rock N Sushi and do you shopping. The pictures don't do justice to the presentation and quality of the seafood they serve here. I have eaten sushi in Japan, Seattle, and Hawaii. The freshness of their seafood and presentation are unique and unmatched. The sushi chefs are artists, who are clearly experienced and can create works of art. They carry an extensive menu of hand rolls, cut rolls, nigiri, sashimi, and specialties. We had the Red Dragon and Lemon Rolls cut style, chirashi bowl, teppanyaki, and ama ebi. (If they have ama ebi on the menu, do not hesitate to order it.) From seating to the end of our meal, service was top notch. Although this restaurant is located in Koreatown, sushi is universal. I highly recommend that you take the time to visit this restaurant and enjoy your meal here. I would rate this 6 stars if Yelp allowed me to.“

“A little gem! They have Korean and Japanese styled rice bowls here. Many great options with reasonable prices and serving sizes especially for the area. We got the tuna tataki bowl and chicken karaage bowl. The person handling orders was really great and said the tuna tataki was their favorite and even gave helpful directions on how to best enjoy the rice bowl with the sauce! “We came here for my bday 2 years ago and it was one of the best meals Ive eaten in LA. Last night we returned with a couple who are business associates. I have to say I rarely give 5 stars but this was an exceptional meal. So I like to learn the history & stories behind the food, and the people the food represents. Very friendly & welcoming service. Bright, simple, and clean ambience. The fried mango-sticky rice rolls are an excellent and a quite ingenious version of the typical mango & sticky rice dessert! I also appreciated the check out process with their handheld device & they take Apple Pay. From the beginning as I entered I felt welcomed, again throughout the service was like being waited on by family, all smiles; and to the end of the meal, bows and smiles! 3 suggestions though: 1. The Thai tea could have been done with little less milk and more tea, and maybe offer other milk options like almond or soy milk, but it was still very flavorful and smooth! 2. I would like to see an upgrade in the glassware used for drinks like the Thai tea, hopefully in the near future. 3. Need better professional pictures up on Yelp. A storefront with four chairs inside and some tables outside, they do a bunch of take-out.The young woman at the counter was pleasant and helpful.I chose the bulgogi tacos which were delicious. The beef was seasoned and fresh, melt in your mouth paired with a spicy dip and lime wedges. I have to be careful with hot peppers (allergies), but my wife said it was the kind of dip that you didn't get the heat at first, but even when, not too hot.My wife had the salmon bowl. A perfectly grilled piece of salmon paired with rice, avocado, along with pickled onions and cucumber. There was an accompanying small dish of a sweet liquid. Maybe a coconut milk base, it tamed any heat. A winner.“

“I stopped by with friends it was a pretty solid spot for pho and other delicious Vietnamese menu items.I had the avocado drink, spicy fried soft shell crab, “Lady’s on fire” Spicy Lo Mein Noodles, beef combo pho & braised marinated pork belly with egg & rice.The avocado drink was good but too much ice overall that you only get a small few gulps of the drink. The soft shell crab appetizer was phenomenal and my favorite dish of the bunch. Perfect flavor and cooked just right.The lady on fire was an excellent noodle dish. Flavor and spice was on point and it was cooked perfectly. The beef combo pho was also good, the meats were great and the broth was pretty good. A descent bowl of pho.The braised pork belly was good but I made the mistake of thinking it was going to be fried. It was still a solid dish, the sauce was delicious and sweet. The pork was very tender and flavorful.Customer service is great but sometimes it can get crowded and there might be some delays due to only a few working, but still a great dining experience.I’d definitely come back to this spot again to try their other menu items. “Oh my god. I don't normally leave reviews but I just ordered delivery from here and I had to. This is the best Thai food I've had in LA. Period. I got the Pad See Ew (See You Again, for sure), Basil Crispy Chicken Wings and Thai Iced Tea. SO GOOD. The Pad See Ew is so flavor packed. The beef and noodles are cooked to perfection, I LOVE the way the tofu is cooked. I am so picky about tofu, this is perfectly fried and sized, crispy on the outside and not dry on the inside. AMAZING. I LOVE LOVE LOVE vinegar chili and am soooooooo happy these came with the dish on the side, definitely ordering extra next time! The chicken wings are SO crispy and flavorful. Holy cow. Thai iced tea not too sweet or too milky, literally perfect. Compliments to the chef!!! I've tried every Thai place and had given up on finding anything that is worth ordering. “I found this taco truck online a few months ago and I was really excited to check it out because I was in the area. I got the world famous short rib tacos and burrito, along with the Sriracha bar. I loved the tacos and burrito! The galbi flavors really came through. I was curious about the Sriracha bar though. I ordered it because it was unique and I didn't know what to expect. It turned out to be a rice crispie bar with caramel filling dipped in chocolate. I didn't taste any Sriracha until my last 3 or 4 bites. If the Sriracha was more thoroughly mixed throughout the bar, I would have enjoyed it much more.“

“Meizhou Dongpo isn't quite what it used to be when it first opened years ago in terms of the quality of the dishes. It's still a very nice place to sit and take a break from strolling through the mall, but it's now best to stick to a few of their most popular dishes while steering clear of the rest. For many dishes, prices have gone up quite a lot while not preserving the quality of the dishes. The serrano pepper beef and crispy roast duck are still quite good and worth a visit. Other items that used to be amazing are no longer so, like the fried rice, which now amounts to very little other than small amounts of egg and cabbage in a large serving of oily rice.“

We popped in for lunch on a Friday, so we took advantage of the lunch special prices. $10 for a starter salad (delicious light and tangy dressing!) and an entree. He chose his favorite standby - green curry chicken - and I selected the spicy tofu mix. We also shared an order of the spring rolls, which were light and tasted super fresh. I’m thankful that the friendly server pointed me in the direction of the spicy tofu mix because it featured three different preparations of tofu in a zesty basil-influenced sauce. Very dramatic and the stairs from the lounge down to the main dining level allow for well dressed ladies to make a regal entrance. The food is excellent also. Prices are high, not surprising. Extensive cocktail menu is delicious. We enjoyed Lychee martinis. Service was quick, efficient, and courteous. The place does get loud and be prepared for shouts of “Sake!!!” This is a great place for special occasions or parties but if you need quiet you may wish to reserve one of their private rooms.“
