My husband and I were looking for a new local spot to try out in Marina. I found Annie's place and the reviews seemed promising. Sadly it did not hit the mark for us completely and we were left feeling underwhelmed. We ordered the potstickers- my husband was not a fan and felt they were mediocre. Also no potsticker sauce was provided aside from this strange red sauce that he was not willing to try. The hot and sour soup was good, and I love that I could order a smaller portion. We each tried the combination plates- I tried the Mongolian beef (it had great ratings) with the chow mien. My husband got the orange chicken with fried rice. The main was good on both of our plates no complaints but the sides had this off putting taste. We both really wanted to like the sides but the taste made it impossible to enjoy. I am happy I gave a local business a chance but I think this will be our first and last time. I hope others continue to enjoy the food!

Annie's House is the best Chinese food in the Monterey peninsula area! The locally-owned restaurant has delicious food, superb service, and a great atmosphere. The owner, Annie (presumably), does a phenomenal job at making everyone want to come back for more! She provides wonderful hospitality and is incredibly kind and generous.I have gotten the Kung Pao Chicken and the Szechuan Chili Beef here, both with Fried Rice and Chow Mein. From what I can ascertain from those two dishes, it's hard to go wrong! Plus, it's quite affordable with the combination plates coming out to just $13.50 before tax. COME HERE!!!Vegetarian options: While limited, Annie's House does offer a number of vegetarian options. I don't know which options are vegan, but I'm sure they'd be able to find something for you!Parking: There are three parking spots in the tiny parking lot, as well as whatever street parking is available. I've never had trouble finding a spot but I know some who have.
I love this cute little restaurant. The food is so yummy and the owner always throws in little treats for us which is so kind. The prices are also super affordable for the area. I wish more people knew about this place, but I also wish I could keep it a secret, so shhhhhhhh!

We have been to Annie's twice now after recently discovering this hidden gem in Marina (93933), CA. The food is top-notch, like a 5-star chef would create, and the staff/owners are beyond kind, helpful and hardworking. We highly recommend Annie's House for any meal and look forward to continuing to frequent their restaurant ourselves in the future. They have special multi-course dinners offered on special occasions and those are fabulous, fun, delicious and special every time!
Unbelievable taste. This husband and wife duo has it dialed in. The service was great, the food was Awsome. Probably one of the two best Chinese meals I've ever had (and I've had a lot). What a pleasant surprise. Do your tastebuds a favor and try it out.
