Got the shrimp and veggie rice rolls, which were bland and tasteless. The peanut sauce which came with it was the saving grace, without which, it would have been hard swallowing the rolls. The service was poor and the person who handed over my food to me was rude and unconcerned. When I asked her where I could through the trash after I was done, instead of directing me towards the nearest trash bin, she sarcastically told me “they’re like all over the place”, with a lot of attitude. The overall ambiance of the place is pretty.

This was missing so many spices that it tasted like phò I could make at home. Nothing good and certainly nothing authentic about this place as it lacked flavor.

Food is pretty good and reasonable priced. Would definitely recommend this place for a quick bite!

I had the pho. Ordering was easy and fast. The brisket was super fatty. Not a lot of noodles. Wouldn't order the pho from there again. Maybe try a banh mi.

Food is decent. What gets me is the wait times. You've been open for over a year and it takes 40+ minutes to make 2 sandwiches on a Sunday. Get some help?

I ordered the pork lemon grass and fried egg today. The pork was extremely dry, And to my knowledge you can’t possibly over cook pork like that any person would know it’s wayyyyy over cooked. I personally think they used old meat that was precooked and just heat it up. It’s extremely dry I’m telling you. The worse Vietnamese pork I’ve ever had. Martinez needs better viet restaurants and this ain’t it.

Though the hours indicated that they would close at 5 they still remained opened towards 7PM when i came by. It is located inside a busy marketplace area, so finding seating can be a little tough during busy times. Parking also a little hard to come by. The food was decent but a nice place to drop by for that part of martinez if you're looking for a quick pho/banh mi fix! Beef pho- OK, wouldn't choose it over most pho places. Flavor was a little bland and the serving portions were small Pork belly banh mi-LOTS OF CARROTS, though it wasn't exactly what i had expected it tasted alright. Overall, the meal was satisfactory for what it was but could have definitely done better on portion sizes. Rating is mostly for the great atmosphere inside and their hours are a bit confusing but still a worthwhile experience.

I just had a bad experience. I wanted to order a sandwich because I’m hungry but when i tried to order, the woman made me use the ipad kiosk. Then I ordered lemongrass pork sandwich which was extremely hot (spicy) yet there’s was no way for me to know this. When I went back she declined to make me a new sandwich. I will NEVER eat here again. Be careful with anything that you order!

Very reasonably priced. I'm not sure if this is an East Bay thing, but it's basically how much things would have cost in South Bay pre-COVID. You order on a kiosk and they will text you when your order is ready. The kitchen was a bit on the slow side. I ordered a grilled pork vermicelli. The flavor profile and combination of sweet, sour, and savory was great, and the pork had a very nice grilled aroma. The vermicelli was a little bit hard and could have benefited from a few more seconds of boil time. 3.5 stars

Great banh mi. Love it and try to eat at least one a week. The lemongrass pork is delicious!

Enjoyed the sandwiches. Reminds me of home. Service was pretty fast for the most part. Would repeat

Maybe I'm use to the banh mi's in the cities and Vietnam town. But the sandwiches lack flavor. No daikon in the pickled veggies?!

9/23/23 I had been waiting for this place to open for the longest time since I saw the sign up. Well today was my chance. I went there and had to wait about five minutes for my order, but that was ok. I had placed my order online with Grubhub and was hoping it would be ready when I arrived. I had to ring the bell to ask them about my order. It wasn't ready because they didn't acknowledge the order was ready for pick up on the app. So they made my order. It was fine waiting.I got home and I didn't eat the sandwich right away which didn't really make a difference for me. The sandwich was sad for me. I had ordered the five spice chicken sandwich and it was kind of salty to me. Also, there was only carrots and cilantro in the sandwich besides the meat. The carrots and cilantro was chopped up and I wasn't used to that. I was bummed out and let down. The bread was good, but that was the only thing going for it. Overall, I've had a better banh mi at other locations. I had high hopes and now they're dashed. Kibi's Cafe does a very good job with their banh mi. It's smaller in size, but the way I'm used to a banh mi having eaten them in San Francisco growing up at Little Paris in Chinatown.

No customer interaction. You place your order at a kiosk. Then, get a text when it is sitting on a counter for you to pick up. The vegetable soup was just raw vegetables in hot water, no flavor at all. This place won't be in business long. Too bad, because it is in a fantastic location. Market & Main is a beautiful little market, with a variety of vendors.
