The sandwiches are amazing!! The way they make them is truly a craft. I've typically ordered online and then go pick up. Recommend giving extra time for orders (~30 min). Totally worth it!! Staff are friendly.

Lucia's is a solid sandwich joint in Martinez. It's nothing extraordinary, but if you're in the plaza and you're looking to satisfy that hunger with deliciousness in between 2 slices of bread, Lucia can craft you a sandwich. I went with the Applewood Smoked Ham Sandwich which was yummy.

They now have two location. What an excellent idea to use focaccia bread to make sandwiches. The combo of a savory/salty sandwich with a jam...GENUIS! It's a must try if you are near either location.

For me this spot is the best sandwich spot, again for me! But give them a try sandwiches won't disappoint especially the turkey sandwich and the prosciutto, fig grilled cheese sandwich. The toast on the bread gives it a great crunch and texture to sandwich, delish!

Love love love this place! Came from Oakland to go shopping in Walnut Creek and was craving a sandwich so I just found this place on yelp. Great pick and great people working. Right next to a Safeway I think so you can get groceries and then grab a sandwich when you don't want to cook the groceries you just bought haha.

Lovely place, great people. The sandwiches are ambitious, and usually succeed. I've had a turkey club and an egg salad sandwich; the club was very good, but would have been better with a bit more bacon. The egg salad was ok, but it wasn't one of better egg salads I've had. On balance, worth a return visit, but still room for improvement.

RIDICULOUSLY GOOD! Best Deli Sandwich ever. Ordered the Applewood smoked Ham. The pickled onions and apricot spread gave it just a touch of sweetness, ricotta creamy and just the right crunch with arugula. The Italian was just as fantastic, applewood smoked ham, coops, Salami , creamy ricotta, provolone, spicy pickled peppers, pickled onion and crunchy arugula made for a satisfying lunch. Sandwiches so big we had to save the other half for dinner. Go there you won't be disappointed.

Their sandwiches are huge and great for sharing with someone. Meats and all veggies are very fresh, everything was flavorful and delicious! Best sandwiches around. We tried Italian and Mortadella. Both excellent!

Nola sandwich has soooooooooo much meat. Prosciutto has great balance of flavors. Head cheese was sooo good as well. I love the foccuica bread.

The sandwiches here are soo good! The Italian is HUGE and you can basically split it between two people or save for another meal. It's packed with toppings and held together nicely. I think the price, although high, is worth it. The kimchi grilled cheese was definitely smaller in size, but very flavorful and cheesey. My only concern is that the sandwich building was done without gloves, but I'm sure their hands were clean! I hope... There are only a few tables inside and a couple tables outside. Parking is in the same lot as Safeway. I would love to try their other items on the menu like their coffee and breakfast sandwiches next
