An Amtrak layover for me. First time in this city. A lady at the Chamber of Commerce recommended it to me. Walking distance from the train station. I had the large Gyros. The meat was seasoned wonderfully. Yet, that beautiful meat taste was overcome by excessive lettuce. Thereby, not having as much meat as other places. When I go back I will take off the majority of the lettuce, but I still take issue with the lack of a good quantity of meat. The first picture is after I cut it in half. Another patron had the Greek fries which looked wonderful. I will go back and try them with another dish, but as far as the Gyros, not enough meat for the price. But let me state clearly...what meat was present was absolutely wonderfully tasty.

I have very high Greek food standards and this place let us down. We had very limited dining options since most places are closed on Monday in Martinez. It’s overpriced mediocre Greek food and no lunch specials. They must have been short handed because we didn’t see our waitress much. I wouldn’t eat here again since the food was disappointing but apparently people must enjoy it since they were busy. Average cost was $17-19 or more a platter unless you only get a $13 wrap or $7 bowl of soup.

We drive to get to Troy’s. The food is always fresh and delicious! The seasoning is perfect! Full of flavor but never over powering. Also, the food is plated well.The family atmosphere makes you feel welcome and the service, especially, makes you feel welcome and like family.The bar also makes a libation!

Visited here for lunch, ordered Chicken and Lamb combo Souvlaki plate and Veggi Peta wrap. Also ordered a Greek Beer, waiter almost forgot beer order. after reminding they had ran out of Bottled beer, any way ended up getting some beer on tap. Other than this experience was uneventful. Nice place. Food was good. There wasn't any wait to get a table. Outstanding Greek salad. Generous portions and high quality ingredients. Also, the service is so friendly and fast at this restaurant. The outside seating area is very nice and heated without door heaters on cool days. I always sit outside!

Order yesterday for delivery today came in person with my sales manager and let me tell you they are great. Customer service amazing food came out with no times fresh tasty. Definitely will be back !
