I want to start off by saying that I drive one hour to enjoy las gorditas that Los Desvelados has to offer. One hour to get there and one hour to go back home. I never had an issue with service or food orders, all the waitresses have been efficient and professional. Today I ordered my usual, carnitas gorditas. But surprisingly I received al pastor gorditas. This was not a problem, the problem arose when I politely let the waiter know about the error and he decided to lecture me about pork. That I had said I wanted pork gorditas which he assumed meant al pastor. Had I said “pork” isn’t it his job as a waiter to ask me whether I meant al pastor or carnitas? I politely let him know that this is my usual and there’s no way I made a mistake. He proceeded to lecture me and said they would give me my correct order this once. The carnitas gorditas were brought out without any utensils as well. So I just asked for a box to go. Service for me is everything, I’ll drive wherever and however long as long as the food and service is good. And today was really disappointing.
I arrived at 9:51 and they didn't let me sit down to eat, it's just takeout because they close at 11, are you staying up late??? First time I came to eat and I don't plan to return.

I placed an order from Guatemala to surprise my boyfriend on Valentine's Day and I was very surprised that Teresa, the owner, spoke to me and personally offered to make the delivery. Jonathan loved tacos and the surprise was great.A hug from Guatemala
