“The place was busy, but plenty of tables to choose from. Staff were friendly and service was quick. The food was AMAZING! Crispy fries with the citrus salt were we tried the Cuban and the ultimate turkey club. Both were the best thing we ate this trip! The beer was tasty too. Anyone in the area should give it a try.“

“Pretty much the best food spot in Arcata. Everything is good here. Locally sourced and quality ingredients. The beer is made in house. Amazing food and amazing people! My fav sandwich is the Brie Prosciutto, but they're all good. Great location, and there's always good tunes playing as well.“
“Low & Slow BBQ. Tried tri -tip, pork loin, and shredded chicken. All were cooked well and tasty. They have variety of sauces. Their sign indicated closed on Tuesday and Wednesday. My first experience and it appears they have specialties each day. I enjoyed their fried pickles it was great.“
“My boyfriend and I flew in from LA on a Saturday afternoon starving and in search of a few drinks. I suggested this place based on its good Yelp reviews, so we drove around trying to find it. We made a few wrong turns because it's not super easy to find, but eventually we made it.We walked inside and I was surprised that there weren't any tables or chairs. Not exactly what we were expecting, so we quickly decided to just leave. We made it back to the car before I said, "maybe we could get a few growlers for the Airbnb?" So we went back inside. It didn't appear that anyone was even working for a few minutes, but eventually the owner emerged from a sort of freezer-looking-thing and greeted us. He was very friendly and took the time to explain all of the beers he had to offer, and that he grew everything on his own farm. Eventually we settled on an IPA and a plum sour (he warned us that his sours are very sour, but the plum is the most mild.)While he got to work filling and sealing our growlers, he gave us some suggestions on what else to do while we're in the area.When we tried the beers later that night, we were both super impressed with how good they were. They're sort of cloudy, like an unfiltered apple cider, and somewhat earthy, but in a good way. We especially loved the plum sour. We were just bummed we didn't have more room in our carry-on bags to take some more home with us!“
