“Best place for around Mendota best service anyone could ask for they greet you with a smile very friendly there is no waiting to long for food. They bring your food to you while you sitting at the tables and if you in your car they personally take your food food is really good asada fries best in town.. sushi which my wife ”
“Really good down-home Mexican food: Stopped in for a late breakfast and the machaca con huevos was exactly what we wanted ... It came with soft homemade corn tortillas, potatoes and excellent refried beans -- my guess is they're homemade, too. Had a pancake on the side that was delicious. Big mug of good coffee and a friendly waitress who made us feel welcome. The building is old but the owners have painted the interior in classic colors and dressed up the (very clean) restrooms with decorative vases”
“Appreciate the hostess and the cook for trying to get the meal out quick. No ambience is hot but definitely worth the food. Thank you to the car. Pupusas were slammin”
“The Cardella Winery is one of the very best you will visit in California. We were able to stay as a member of Harvest Hosts and Pete's kindness and knowledge for both the Cardella family and the different varieties of grapes and vines was superb. You must add this Winery to your bucket list. Our entire visit was outstanding. Our heartfelt THANKS for delightful memories, beautiful grounds, and the very best wines we have enjoyed.”

“Best Food I’ve had from Mendota, it was so good that after I got done I had to give them a review for doing a great job, I am daily customer now& greatly recommend this restaurant to family, friends& those looking for a quick bite! They do make your food from scratch so don’t expect it to be like a fast food joint very worthy!”
“Food and service was very good, which why we marked 5 stars. I would deduct 1/2 a star as the dining room was not very clean. It does not need to be fancy, but clean would be nice.”
“I was in for a dozen and a half of pupusas and was told about this place by my sister. When I got there, They guy who took my order was very friendly but I asked for menus and he responded that they didn't have any. So other than pupusas Mixtas (chicharrón and cheese), cheese, or queso con loroco I don't really know what else they offer. The pupusas were $2.50 each. Ended up paying $55 and some change for the dozen and a half and 2 Jarritos. Taste was okay, nothing too amazing. The size of the pupusas were a good size. I added the red sauce (pictured) because they do give you the pickled cabbage and tomato sauce but it just needed the little extra kick. Not dying to go back but I just may.”
“I spent a month working in the area and I ate there every day, the service is excellent and the food is spectacular, I recommend it to anyone passing through the area or living nearby because you won't regret ”
“A good place to grab a sandwich. The location is always clean and have the bread you want. The workers here are very nice. They are usually fast about making the sandwich. I like just sit there and eat instead of take it to go. Will be coming back again. Happy about this place.”
“Food is very good. I prefer the "tipico" Salvadorian breakfast and their pupusas are good. They have good "Choco-banano" and Salvadorian snacks...”
“Food is good but can be very oily at times. Service is very friendly and pizzas are generally ready quickly.Parking: Parking lot is available but is very small. Sometimes requires parking elsewhere and walking to location.”
“I'm a truck driver stuck at the produce warehouse they didn't deliver this far but I offered a generous tip and the manager ok'd it. This is what I'm talking about going above and beyond to take care of a starving driver. I highly recommend this pizza restaurant. The delivery driver gets here hooked him up with the generous tip and the pizza and wings was ? ? ?. That crust, the tender wings no words can express. Can't wait to return here.”
“If I’m able to I will always come to this taco truck over the rest including the one in Firebaugh. The food in my opinion is much better and better priced. I enjoy the pizza which I get half asada half birria and the asada fries. Which I paid $39 for 1 pizza, 1 asada fries, and 1 horchata.”
