“Lunch Specials were $7.95 served with Egg Roll, Fried Rice, Salad and Egg Drop Soup was well worth it. The food tasted pretty good. There wasn't much oil used. The service was descent. The atmosphere was good and wasn't too crowded. It's a hidden restaurant, right next to Vons and would have not known if it weren't for google map. Our favorite was the Crispy Beef Hot Sauce, Lover's Nest was our second favorite though there isn't a lunch special for that, we ordered the Dinner portion.“
“Yum! Tasty Chinese food!!Different from other fast Chinese food places, but in a good way. The Orange Chicken was not heavily breaded and was made with large, juicy chicken; it has a nice thin crispy outside and delicious sauce. I also had the Garlic Spice Chicken. This was a pleasant change if you like spicy, garlicky and sweet all in one, yum!! The Chicken Egg rolls were a nice treat too; loved the crunchy cabbage in it as well.To drink I had the Thai Iced-tea. Deliciously creamy and sweet. Perfect match with the Garlic Spice Chicken. The portions are huge! Enough to feed two people in one meal. The staff here are super friendly!“
“Love coming to this place. The employees are so pleasant and it’s make it very enjoyable coming here. The food is delicious and they serve it hot. Fast service as well and they like to accommodate as well. I recommend this restaurant as a client and Uberdriver. Good job ☺️?“
“The food at this family-owned restaurant is simply great!!! We had fresh spring rolls, orange chicken, pad thai, tom yum soup… everything was superb, flavourful, with fresh ingredients. The owner and his staff are very nice people. So happy to have discovered this excellent eatery!“
“Peony’s is THE BEST Chinese food I’ve ever had. When I used to live in LA I would drive two hours there and back just to get some of Peony’s cream cheese wontons. They are to die for!! Every Chinese place I’ve had their wontons are not even close to Peonys. Definitely dip them with the sauce! I also highly recommend their house special chicken. We can’t eat at any other Chinese place after having Peony’s.“
“Good food and portions. We ordered the eggplant, orange chicken, chow mein, and shrimp ? lobster sauce. All were yum and they threw in the crispy chips with red sweet sauce. We want to try the other dishes next time ! Good value and fast service also.“
“It's nice to have sushi and authentic Chinese food together at the same place. The restaurant has a large rolling sushi bar in the center with comfortable booths to the side. Our server Eddie was fantastic and we ordered orange chicken, veggie tempura, the Philadelphia roll, and the sushi sashimi special plate. All were very tasty.“
“My new fav Asian restaurant! This was my first time eating here and fell in love! The orange peel chicken with rice was a large plate for only $12.99. I’ll have at least one more meal with the leftovers. Could have easily shared it. There was a lot of flavor and it was very filling. I can’t wait to go again and try more dishes.Eat in and have their hot tea- very delicious! Atmosphere reminded me of Chinese restaurants from when I was a kid.You can do take out, but the ambiance was fun!The scents emanating from the restaurant while in the parking lot pulled me in and I wasn’t disappointed!“
“This is THE best Chinese restaurant in the Temecula Valley. All the staff is very friendly and respectful. The price point is highly competitive considering the big portions. Both the freshness and the taste of the food are top-notch. They always carefully package to-go orders, especially fried items, to make sure they remain as fresh/hot as possible during transport. Note that this place is mainly for carry-out/pick-up. Seating is limited but I've always found it clean and organized. They also offer direct online ordering on their website which saves a few bucks as compared to using any of the major food ordering apps (although they do offer pick-up and delivery through those as well).“
“The moment I touched the door , the girl yelled at me " din in or take out ". I thought I was in trouble. Food portion though is right on. Loved the food. Tried asking fried rice with no egg and lady said " NO". Was denied. My vegan ass had to get white rice . But they did have options.“
