Well , Pollo Loco was great things have changed a little. No more salsa bar. Choices & quality styling there more stringent.Dietary restrictions: Diabetic watching salt, sugar, fat. Pollo loco more then meets requirement. 1 breast has 600 MG os salt, a hotdog has 1200 grams os salt. What's healthier? Chicken or 1 hotdog no bun. A no brainer.

Went thru drive thru so atmosphere was not an issue. Bought dinner and lunch for the next day. Especially like their chicken bowls and family dinner menu and healthy side selections. Chicken is always tasty. Prices reasonable.Dietary restrictions: Like side selections that is more than just bean and rice, fries or only carbs.
how you guys manage to mess up a plain pollo bowl everytime... so wasteful now i gotta scoop half my meal off the top

... my churros were bare. :( I've never left a restaurant review before, but El Pollo Loco has always been one of my favorites, and the last few months, service has been a bit weird. Usually the order isn't very wrong, if at all, but this time, it was very off.I ordered 2 churros, which have not a crumb of cinnamon sugar, 2 pork carnitas tacos, that have no sauce + oddly chopped veggies, and an avocado chicken burrito for my breakfast tomorrow. I'm really hoping my burrito is good as always.I understand the pressure of keeping food such a high quality while simultaneously being a frequented fast food place in a city like Menifee, but working too fast and not being organized enough to give your customers correct meals is more damaging to your amount of returning customers than having to go a bit slower to give them what they're paying for. however, I have a feeling they may be understaffed for the amount of people they need to serve at once from what i can see of fhe kitchen each time i go, and that's not the employees fault.I really hope my churros are able to be rolled in sugar because of better working habits/conditions next time I go, but I also hope the workers are doing okay. Sometimes bad food quality and/or service indicates the employees aren't feeling well, not that they're lazy.

Never again for 3 things chicken was dry ,salad no dressing on it,broccoli was out of a bag and in the microwave that cashier handled that and did not WASH HER HANDS and went back to cashier ingredients. NEVER AGAIN.
