We had dinner at Giovanni's last night after the Italian chain restaurant across the street had an hour wait at 7 pm. We were seated right away at a comfortable booth. Almost at once, a friendly server arrived and asked us if we would like to order drinks. Water arrived quickly, shortly followed by a well-priced bottle of Chianti. We split a large dinner salad, and it was fresh and crunchy with a variety of greens, cherry tomatoes and cucumbers, your choice of dressing. My husband and I split a medium Giovani's Special pizza which has all sorts of veggies plus pepperoni AND sausage on it. The crusty was perfectly cooked and the pizza was delicious. My mother ordered the spinach lasagna which was loaded with spinach. My husband helped her finish it and proclaimed it exceptional. This restaurant is an undiscovered neighborhood gem. If you are looking for a good Italian restaurant serving all your favorites with excellent service, you will not be disappointed with Giovanni's.

Read the reviews and thought it would be nicer. Had the calamari, antipasta and tiramisu. Tiramisu and raspberry vinegar dressing was awesome!Reply to owner: Dined in.Your antipasta- canned sliced black olives, dry pepperonicinis, very limited deli meats and cheeses selection to name a few.Calamari- breading is too thick and it also made it greasy.It may be worth your whole to go try these items at OliveTree in Elsinore. It's only a few dollars more and the difference is huge!P.S. they also have very nice liquor and wine selections.
This place used to be our favorite for pizza in the area, but recently they’ve gone down hill. Last night we paid over $100 for two large pizzas, one medium cheese, a “large salad”, and tip. One of our large pizzas, pictured in this review, was missing peperoncinis, which is a key ingredient for this combination. By the way, if you have not tried a pepperoni, pineapple, peperoncini pizza, you are missing out. We paid for extra sauce on all pizzas, but it doesn’t seem like they added it. This is the second time this has occurred with the sauce issue. What is it, fool me once, twice… The salad we ordered had some mixed greens and two of the thinnest slices of cucumber I’ve ever seen. I was impressed by how thinly they were able to slice it, but not a quality I’m looking for on a salad with only two slices. It also only came with two Roma tomatoes, which at this point seem decorative above all else. Come on guys, if we order a green salad, we want some veggies on it to accompany the heavy pizza we’re eating and should not have to ration who gets a tomato and who gets a cucumber. Overall, we just felt disappointed and undervalued. The house ranch is still delicious though. Please do better Giovanni’s.

Met about 6 girlfriends there for lunch and a little birthday party. Never been there before and not many people were there when we went, so it was nice. I just had a dinner salad and garlic bread. The salad was very good but the garlic bread, not so much. I think the Texas cheese toast you buy at the store is way better. Just my opinion. My hubby puts garlic and onion powder on Texas toast and cheese and air frys them and oh boy, so good. The garlic bread there was dry, not garlic taste really, and didn't cook it enough to make it a little crunchy. Gave it to my dog when I got home, and Zoey liked it.

Went to have lunch with my mother in law and husband. The meat lovers pizza was amazing and the creme Brule cheesecake was to die for. Owner was friendly and music was soothing.
Family atmosphere. Excellent customer service. On some days you get to listen to the owner knock out the hits from the Golden years of music. Elvis night is my favorite time to visit.

We went directly to the website, clicked the “order online” button, placed order, received text confirmation from “Giovanni’s” and waited. Order tracking said to expect delivery at 6:34 pm. Order marked as delivered at 6:50 pm. Order was left outside. Delivery driver did not even ring doorbell. We brought cold order back to restaurant only to be given the excuse that it was delivery company fault. Female manager stated that door drop was standard due to Covid. But…late, and not ring doorbell? Excuses and defensiveness that included ZERO customer service.If you are going to have their link on your website, you are then accountable to their service. As much as we like the food, will never go back. Restaurant cared ZERO for our experience with their food, their website, their responsibility, their reputation.
I don't know if you've seen the recent post on Nextdoor site, but it seems you're loosing quit a few customers over your gift card policies.You may want to read it.

A while ago I had your Hawaiian pizza and it was delicious. Couldn't wait to order it again. Today I ordered and it tasted like cardboard. No flavor whatsoever. It advertised with bacon bits, and there wasn't one crum of bacon on it. I never had a pizza more tasteless than today. Why the difference?
