Nice atmosphere. I did have to wait a long while at the front. It was my first time so I didn’t know if I was supposed to seat myself or wait. Another couple came in and confirmed we wait to be seated.Later we found out the waitress was alone. Let me say, she had a smile the whole time and it was a packed restaurant. I enjoyed this short rib benedicto. That sweet corn tamale was so good! The whole things was delish! We also enjoyed their chips and salsa. The salsa had a distinct flavor that was just delicious.

Very disappointing experience. Went there last night for dinner. We have been at this establishment many times. I walked in and let the hostess how many are in my party(3). She told me will be a wait time of about 15 minutes. The hostess then asked us to wait outside. There was no other party waiting. She said no one is allowed to wait inside anymore. I asked to speak to the manager. He said no one is allowed inside because of a previous incident with someone in a wheelchair. We told him it is very cold outside. He said he would turn on a heater outside. Well, that’s problem because all the tables were wet. My overall concern is:1. You are an establishment in a “senior community”2. No sign was posted that stated no one can wait inside.3. The tables were wet. If you want people to wait outside then wipe the rain off.4. Telling an 86 year old man to wait outside is insensitive and shows lack of compassion. Again no one was waiting inside upon our arrival.5. Very disappointing that this is how you treat customers.

I had found this restaurant on instagram. Their pics looked very inviting and I had been wanting to try it out. So glad I did. Went with my youngest daughter. Loved the decor inside and the food was really good. I had the mole enchiladas. For sure is going down as one of my favorites and will be going again.

Went to pick up an order and was there 40 minutes. The staff kept telling me a few minutes. When I asked to speak to a manager this gal showed up. She claimed she had no idea how things work. What? Oh yeah she was the owner. She went from 0 to 60 in 1.2 seconds. Granted she was 4'10ish and I am 5' 6" she had the audacity to then grab the bags of food and try to rip them from my hands. I smiled at the little Chiwawa and smiled. So questions are not appreciated here when they are wrong and you can possibly get an ankle bite.Never again.

So good! The food and service were fantastic. Live music is fun. We had the owner Chris serving us and he was a pleasure. Great family owned restaurant. I wanted my daughter to apply as she has done so well with high school and has her college picked out that she has a few spare hours a week to pump up her college funds. We still love Povechos even though she didn’t apply.Kid-friendliness: Owner was so nice to our kids. Other families came after us.Parking: Plenty for everyone!Dietary restrictions: We needed a couple gluten free options. They had menu items specific to this or were willing to adapt items for us. So cool!

Overall, this place was average at best. The only authentic thing about this place is the name of the establishment. Food tasted pretty decent, but in no way was it any type of “authentic Mexican” food. Serving staff was very nice and attentive even when it got busy but I did notice some employees just standing in the corner just watching or sitting down with customers chit chatting while the floor was busy.

The food had good flavor and the staff was great. It was a full house and there were two waiters that were also the bartenders and the hosts and they were busting their butts! My only complaint is that none of the spicy things we ordered were spicy. The table salsa was sweet and the salsa brava habanero salsa was not at all spicy. I also had a jalapeño cucumber margarita that had no heat to it.

The food is good, the service is eh and they started skimping on the free chips and salsa. The worst part of my experience was the booth table in the back left corner closest to the bar. It had to have been the wobbliest f'ing table I've ever sat at. They sat us there with two small children. I spent the whole time trying to keep all of our drinks from spilling by holding or wedging the table under the wood trim. They had live music the night we were there which was good, but the wobbly AF table is what killed the experience. Get some darn shims and fix the table. It's like $3 and 2 minutes time.....makes me wonder what else they skimp on.....

Came here for first time last weekend and it was a decent experience. We got the Chile verde platter with rice and beans and a taco/enchilada/tamale combo with rice and beans. It had good flavor and the chips and salsa were good too. They were understaffed but they did do as well as they could under the circumstances. The prices were good for what you got and I'd come back if wanted a sit down Mexican food fix.

Absolutely Provechos! Chef Rosie puts out the most consistent and delicious food all the time! When we're deciding where to eat out, Provecho Grill is always top of the list, because we know the staff are friendly and the food is consistent. We've been going here over 5 years and are never disappointed. If you're looking for something more authentic than the American version of mexican food, then this is the place to go. Chef Rosie, Chris and their staff are the BEST!!!
