We went on a Sunday night. Very lively atmosphere, it was full by 6:30pm. Attentive, efficient service. The pork belly hung lay was amazing, as was the roti with coconut chicken curry. The tea leaf salad was mixed in front of us for a bit of drama, but the pieces of baby gem were a little too big for even distribution (would have been better if shredded). The rest of the dishes (deviled eggs, beef kebat, eggplant) were good but not super memorable. We were surprised that shan tofu wasn't on the menu, but I guess this is supposed to be contemporary fusion rather than traditional Burmese cuisine.

We really enjoyed the dining experience here. The food was delicious, a little exotic, and elegantly presented. The service was attentive in a classy and elegant setting. We picked this place from three Restaurant Week participants, we get a set menu with choices of cocktails, appetizer/salad, main course, and dessert.Everything was tasty, the most enjoyable dish was the Mohinga, the National Dish of South Burma. Essentially, it’s noodles in fish sauce, the noodles were al dente , the thick soup was flavorful with a hint of spice that grows on you.

Burma Love is the most wonderful addition to Menlo Park! All the dishes are delicious - particularly the tea leaf salad, chili prawns and the curries. Excellent drinks and ambiance!

Walked in and was seated by the host at the bar by the window. At first thought this could be a nice private end spot. The bar space filled up quickly. The view out the window was of an automobile shop and looking forward was a back room of the restaurant. Menus and box or something piled on the floor next to the bar. Bar seating looked straight into an office with a big monitor, swivel desk chair and papers posted on a wall for the dates of buyouts. Door left open even when they attempted to close it. Sliding door that wouldn’t stay closed. It slid back open. 3 people in/out constantly. Not the view you want at dinner. We were seated there by the host directly from the entrance of the restaurant. Have no idea what the actual restaurant looks like. Too far down to even describe what the bar looked like. The seats were so close together and wrapped around you so it was hard to get in/out without moving the seat straight back.

A friend gave me a salad kit from Burma Love. I was hooked and researched where I could get more. I was so happy to see there was actually a restaurant. Went to the restaurant and fell in love with more dishes! Very gluten free friendly.Dietary restrictions: Gluten

The food was okay, but nothing outstanding. They got our order wrong twice, which was frustrating. Overall, the taste was mediocre, and considering the high prices, it wasn't worth it. I fail to see what all the hype is about. I wouldn't recommend it…save your money and dine elsewhere… employee health care service fee is also included in the already high bill .

Was there two weeks ago for dinner and had a fabulous meal. Tea leaf salad. Samosa and chicken curry. Food arrived hot, flavorful and delicious. Monday lunch special not impressive, tea salad soggy with not much flavor, cold sumosa. Eggplant, coconut rice was good. Also order chicken curry and it was ok. I'd say different kitchen on Monday lunches. Not memorable as dinner was on a Wednesday eve.

Amazing food! We ordered the tea leaf salad(ask for extra tea leaf!) and the fresh spring rolls as appetizers. We were vegetarian- so we got the garden curry and hawker noodles....all delightful flavors!

On our second trip here, we were disappointed. The Tea Leaf Salad was good, but our two entrees were disappointing. We ordered the fried chicken, and the sauce was good, but it was overcooked and cold. The curried tofu with vegetables had a nice presentation, but the curry sauce was off. It just didn't taste good. The service was great, but for the prices they are charging, I expect better quality food. The restaurant is also very loud.

Menu and food preparation are very tasteful and delicious. Service is great but ambience is noisy, especially in the evening. They really need sound dampening as conversations at neighboring tables block discussion for all others around. Too bad they haven't figured out how to create a relaxing ambience for their great food selections.

Loved the ambiance, service and the food! Got spring roll, rothi platha, veggie garden green curry. Delicious litchi express drink. Great presentations and lovely time with friends. Have saved this place to return! We didn't make a reservation but got seated at bar which we didn't mind. Would recommend reservations.

Loved the food and service. Downgraded the atmosphere for the loudness of the dinning room. There is lots of parking in the underground garage. It's pricey but worth it.
