This is a popular and busy cafe! I came here with friends for coffee & desserts. But I did notice a lot of people coming here to eatPRO:- Lots of places to sit- Good (not bitter) strong cappuccino- Rich chocolate layer cakeCON:- Does seem more of a eatery than a bakery/cafe (was hoping for more desserts).SUMMARY:Great place to meet up with friends to catch up. Would like to comment on the food but only did desserts and coffee which was nice.
Unfortunately the counter service has really gone downhill. I've been going here for years. Recent example of poor service: last week a service screw-up not only impacted me, but 3 other guests I brought with me. No apologies from the wait staff. One hour to get a simple order fixed.Specifics: Last week I placed an order to go in person at the counter, paid for it, and waited. And waited. And waited. I've never had a bad meal here. Food is amazing, service is amazing, atmosphere is friendly and comfortable. Best frosted mocha you'll ever have. I also highly recommend the #3 egg scramble.
