I hate it when I have to say this is the best Sushi I have had in 20 years, because it will be pack more, then I will have to wait. This is an actual Japanese restaurant! They usally close at 8:30, but they were packed. At the looks of things, the were not going home until midnight. Unbillable how fresh the food was. Great assortment of Saki. Food was to die for. I will be returning on Sunday after the Super Bowl.

I've been here twice on my current work trip, and both times the staff were friendly and the food was good and came out very quickly. Note that my listed price range is for a mostly-nigiri meal. You could easily eat dinner here for $30 if you're more reasonable than I am.Another review complained about the size of the sashimi, but the nigiri sizes seemed normal. I highly recommend the 5-piece salmon sampler if you like salmon (5 pieces of nigiri or sashimi).

Surprised the reviews aren’t higher! We came by on a Thursday evening and enjoyed this cozy Japanese restaurant for the first time. Generous and fresh sashimi, interesting sushi rolls, friendly service especially to our young child, and a laidback setting. Nice hidden gem in Menlo.

Good sushi, quick service, friendly staff. Restaurant is a little dated. But overall a good experience.

As in most Asian restaurants, they need Customer Service training.I ordered the 7-piece sashimi, and I had to get my magnifying glasses out to find the pieces?I'll go back, but not for the Sashimi.I normally get twice the amount, at half the price, again this is the Bay area.

A Japanese restaurant that feels very authentic. A wide selection of sake is available, both filtered and unfiltered.Food is also very tasty: good sushi and a nice menu of grilled items.

Fantastic sushi (yellowtail ) & shrimp tempura rolls. Super high quality fresh sashimi grade offerings. For Menlo Park, reasonably priced and available via DoorDash.
Love this place. My family has been going here for years. Quality sushi and nice environment in the restaurant. Chefs special roll is a favorite. Amazing selection of sake

Had dinner there. Rolls, udon and sashimi. Presentation and taste were very good but the sashimi gave me the runs. Most unfortunate as I enjoyed the sashimi very much.

Update. While seated at the sushi bar ,they were closing down and spraying glass cleaner all over. Nothing like the smell to enhance the subtle flavors sushi. I should have read my old review before returning here. $70 bucks and I left hungry.

Our "go to" sushi place - always friendly and very quick service. They know their customers incredibly well. Like the neighborhood "cheers" of sushi bars! And fabulous sushi!
