I am back for more delicious food and exceptional service. I had a tostada with chicken and al Pastor taco. All I can say is "OMG is this delicious " and I am going to keep coming back! They have daily eww and next time (I was in a hurry) I'm going to stay and dine inside, this place is really clean!

I would say the service is SLOW! the workers there sometimes act unprofessional, by sitting at tables with people they know and eating food with them while they are on the clock. The manger sat down with prior she knew while on the clock and pushed responsibilities on to other workers to complete. The food overall is okay, nothing great. Some of it is microwaved, they don’t have queso they make nachos by putting shredded cheese on chips and mircrowaving them. Overall can’t stand the very slow service. I was first in line and had to wait 15 mins to even order because they started doing to go/ online orders and any order that came in they would do. The Line got to be 10 people long and they finally started to service us. The girl who made our meal kept staring off in space and seemed not interested. She also said they stopped serving something my mother wanted at 7 and at the time we were there is was 6:24. Overall just frustrated.

12/19/22, I gave 3 Stars because the Flan and Rice Pudding Cups sold to me are simply 200% marked up local grocery store food items. I got played. The 4 street tacos and the 2 tostadas were acceptable. Just buy the handmade items items here.

Little hidden gem. The food is delicious! The staff is incredibly kind, personable and professional. Thank you to the sweet lady who treats her customers like family. Also the kind young man there during the earlier part of the day (did not get his name) was also a delight to engage with. Can't wait to try more on the menu!

I used to live in Los Banos. El Grullense was my go to for authentic mexican food. I now live not far from Merced. I found El Palmar on GrubHub, and Im glad I did. The food was great and well worth the price. From now on this will be my go to.

Most places have bad attitude workers with mediocre food but this place has never frustrated me. Today I went in with a poor attitude and not very pleasant. Monica remained unbothered and did a great job with my picky order. Keep up the great work! The only negative thing I can say is that I wish this location stayed open longer.
Great food and great hospitality. What sets this place apart from others is the fact that you get to pick your toppings, kind of like a Subway or Chipotle. They also have the option of chopped up jalapeños as a topping, which is a plus for me. They also grill your burrito after, which is nice so when you get to the end, it doesn't fall apart. Very great tasting food. Everything was fresh. Everything was clean. Could not complain if I wanted to

Worst tacos in Merced. First time and not coming back, I just saw how the microwave everything. And they charge for onion limon and sauce for your tacos that’s crazy and I also order the special of the day that was 2 tamales, beans and rice. Terrible food. There was just one person here. I wouldn’t recommend people to come here even a taco truck is better than this restaurant. Anyway if u want food from a fridge you can come here. I came here just because I wanted to try their birria ramen but oh surprise the didn’t have any cause it was expired.

Since I'm attending uc Merced, Ive been in Merced for a few months now and being away from home got me homesick and in desire to have some delicious tacos. I was dying to try an authentic Mexican food and sadly this place let me down so bad .. everything on the menu was so over price. Worst of all, the carnitas were dry and hard to bite down. This place doesn't even grill their tortillas nor their meat. If i could give this place a Zero star rating i would. If you want some real tacos, DONT COME HERE !!!
