Great atmosphere and super amiable service. The menu was crisp and delicious. Will definitely recommend this place to others. Affordable prices and large portions. Keep it up.

I love this place! They offer first-cleass meals, their menu is decent, The chef in that restaurant is a specialist, I love a lot trying all their dishes. The food is always fresh and tasty, the service towards the customers is helpful. I frequently visit this place and I not even once was unhappy. Highly recommended.

Really cool find on the Sante Fe golf range. I was not sure I was in the right place until I walked inside and actually saw the restaurant but I am very glad I seemed them out. I ordered the GRUB burger with a side of fries and left extremely satisfied. I am always excited/scared to order a burger with blue cheese, it can easily overpower everything else and ruin the flavor. What I loved the most was that this was not the case with this burger, it was perfectly balanced and one of the best burgers I have had. Bacon and bourbon jam?!?! Yes please. The fries were crispy and good but I would agree for 4 dollars I would expect more. I will definitely come back next time I am in the area to try the other options.

When driving in we thought we were lost and did not think it would be in this small little shack. So we pulled into the dirt parking lot and walked in. Nice environment, peaceful. We ordered and got our food Within a reasonable time. It was 3 of us, 2 burgers and a grill cheese. Food was DELICIOUS ! I ordered the Cali Burger. It was tasty, well made. Recommend it !!

The good: The burger was flavorful and decent; definitely in the upper echelon of hole-in-the-wall burgers. It definitely seemed fresh. The meh: The fries were below average and the amount they give you is low for what they charge. They also only give you about half the amount of ketchup that you'll need. There's no accounting for taste though; I can definitely see this being someone's favorite burger joint. The pictures were kind of misleading. The menu has like 5 things on it; all burgers. After seeing the pictures, I expected biscuit burgers, ribs, all kinds of stuff. That was not the case. It's just normal burgers. They charge for water. There was a sign indicating that that's a normal thing in Merced, but not being from there, I can't verify that. The bad: The seating is sparse and uncomfortable. It was freezing cold inside even on a cold day, and inside it's dark and cramped. There's no sign to tell you you're there. We just showed up and there was a golf course, and we wandered around for about 5 minutes thinking the GPS was wrong. Some random patron finally saw us and let us know it's in the unmarked building. And the woman at the counter...let's just say her demeanor made us very uncomfortable.

Wow, best burger I have ever eaten in at Driving Range! Don't let the out side of this place determine whether you go inside or not. I had the standard "Grub" burger and steak fries with their homemade Ranch dip. Both exceptional! Smoked bacon and bourbon jam, Danish blue cheese, roasted tomato, baby arugula and Grub secret sauce. I've gone to Vegas and ate nothing but gourmet burgers for five days, I like to food theme my Vegas trips, don't judge!, this was as good as any of those. Go to GRUB!

Have been to this joint once but the food rocked. Small joint run by husband/wife team loacted inside the Santa Fe driving range between Merced and Atwater. Chef is a local guy who has worked at several top restaurants around the country and decided to come back to his roots. Started hearing/reading about this place locally and decided to try it out. Small indoor seating area and outdoor eating on the patio. I went with their Western Burger and it was freaking delicious. Perfectly cooked beef with smoked bacon and bourbon jam topped with blue cheese. Everything came together in harmony! My friend had the Western burger with bacon and fried onions and loved it. You can get a basket of fries separately. Also, 4-5 craft beers are available to purchase from the golf shop, which shares the space with the restaurant. Will be going back to try other burgers/sandwiches on their limited menu. They might soon outgrow their small place if word gets around!!!

Great burgers! Hard to find the place because it's joined with golfing range building. It's a small spot not a lot of seating inside but there are tables outside. The food takes a bit of time to make so be prepared to wait but it's completely worth it. Definitely coming back!!

Hard to find but google maps got us there. They share the golf range building. Great people, gourmet burgers. The Grub burger with blue cheese, bacon bourbon jam and arugula was amazing. You can get a beer to go with from the golf folks. Lots of outside seating but limited inside. Very small staff so be patient.

Not going to lie, this was the best deal I have had in a long time. The place is a dump, but it is old darrels crazy golf bar for one haha. They are great, the food is AMAZING. Homemade ranch you can drink straight. Burger and fries was $20 so it's pricey, but it really is the best food I've had in a while I just wish it was at a place downtown it would be killing it!!

I think I found my long lost burger!!! It was so good. Had the grub burger and the chicken bacon sandwich. Both were delicious. I think the grub burger won this match tho. I hope they stay for the long haul and get a permanent place near Merced and not Atwater. Love! Will be back and hope to see dinner options soon!!!

This is probably the best burger in Town. We got the grub burger and the western burger. They were able to accommodate gluten free dietary needs. They even split it for us coz we wanted to try each other's. Really amazing spot they got here. Don't be afraid of the driving range setting! Get here now and grab a fantastic burger! The tall cook with glasses was super knowledgeable and helpful with the menu. He gave some great recommendations and was fantastic in understanding the dietary needs of someone who has celiac disease. I would absolutely go here again!
