We ordered food for take out. I will say that the service was not bad, and the wait was not long either. The cashier at front was friendly and nice. she was the best part of this and pretty much is the only reason I gave them a 2 star instead of one. The food was disgusting. Our potstickers were overcooked and hard, and the meat inside I don't even know what they make it with and had a red/brown color to it and didn't taste good at all. Our lemon chicken was beyond overcooked and the chicken was hard, very disgusting. We got two orders of chow mein and both was were way to oily and had little flavor. We got foil wrapped chicken and orange chicken that was ok at best, it at least it was edible. I used to come here all the time but in recent years has gone way down hill. Save your money and go somewhere else.

I always come here, good service. They have a lot of variety of food. I wish they had soju options. Sake (white peach) tastes like perfume. Edemame is mid. Greta ambience and sushi for Merced. I know. Good amount of seating more. 2 tvs for sports. You can also view the chefs making the rolls.

Went here last night for my son's 20th bday. We made reservations for a party of 9 the week before and called the day before to confirm. When we got there they seemed surprised but luckily they had a table in the back that accommodated us. After that we placed an order for appetizers. We waited and waited, then waited some more for the waiter to come back and take our orders for our meals. Finally some of the appetizers came but not all at the same time, shortly after that they took our orders, then we waited and waited for quite some time. Finally the plates start coming out, half of our party ordered hot entrees while the other half ordered sushi. This is where things took a turn for the worse. By the time the sushi got out half the table was already done with their food. It took over half an hour for the rest of the food to arrive. The servers barely came by to check on us. They gave us only one napkin per person, none of our drinks were refilled, our soy sauce was empty and I had to get up and ask for more, and still my ice tea was never refilled. I finally got up and asked for the manager who gave me 15% off, but honesty for what we had to put up with and the excuses given it wasn't enough. The quality of the food is subpar for the prices they are charging, the quality of sushi wasn't great either. I won't be back after this experience. Btw this isn't the first time I have been there and received poor service but I gave it more than 2 chances and again the service was poor. I've worked in the food industry on and off for almost 20 years and I found the excuses to not be acceptable by any of the industry standards. Just because you are busy doesn't mean one half of the table should wait over half an hour from the time the other half the table received their first entrees, no one asked to top off our drinks once. This place isn't exactly a big restaurant either so their idea of busy even with a packed house is nothing compared to other places whose dining rooms are huge and I still do not have to deal with poor service. We will not be back. I hope we eventually get a decent sushi spot down town because this place is not it by any stretch of the imagination.

Great service. Delicious food. Comfy, old school ambiance. We will be back to try more food from their expansive, but not expensive, menu. Definitely try the Spicy Garlic Edamame. The garlic sauce is super tasty!
