Hands down best taco truck in Merced. The staff is kind, and the food is absolutely amazing. I personally love the salsa on the tacos and the birria is SO good. I come here at least a couple time a week and it never disappoints.

Some of the best tacos we’ve had! Everything was cooked to order. The difference (secret sauce) is in their seasoning and salsa. Highly recommend for anyone passing through or living in Merced to try La Cruda.

My dad brought me here because this food truck supposedly has the best in town. I have a few thoughts about this place. First, service here is a bit on the slow side. From the time that we ordered to the time we got our food was a long wait. The girl who took our order was new, but she was she was friendly and answered all our questions. Prices are higher than other food places, be prepared to spend a little more. They do have specials, which overall are a good price versus ordering individual items.My husband's carne asada burrito (extra meat) was huge. He's a big meat lover and he ate the whole thing. I ordered a mulita to try it out. It came with consomme from the Birria. Consomme was average for me, what I expect from food trucks add a squeeze of lime to the consomme and its much better.I had the tacos mar y tierra (surf and turf) which was asada and shrimp. These are some of the best tacos I have had in a long time. Handmade tortillas, shrimp was cooked to perfection. I love that they serve it with grilled jalapeño and onions and cucumber slices. Their Chipotle salsa is a bit spicy but goes great with the seafood. 100% coming back.

The food is very delicious and not to mention the birria tacos, only the small maciado tacos are very small.

Got 3 items asada Supreme tacos, which were good recommend if you go here , also had there Supreme asada burrito which was OK not Great , and finally had the Supreme wet burrito which they warn you its hot , which it was to hot uneatable just wanted a good red sauce. I would have eaten it, but the sauce is sweet, then hot didn't like the flavor . The portions are bigger but cost alot more . Will not be back better value and flavor options around .

Been waiting to try this truck for a while and I was not disappointed! The staff was friendly and answered all my questions. Their menu is so big I had a hard time deciding and the person taking my order help me narrow down to one thing and told me to try the other item next time. And since it was very good I will do just that. I had the birria torta and I love how the cut up the meat. The only thing is I asked for extra cheese and was charged for it but it wasn't on my sandwich. But I will be returning.

Food is always good the service is sometimes great. They don't always update their menu they have posted outside. I was treated like I didn't know what I was talking about when I order something even though it said today's special. I tried explaining to the person taking my order that the menu was not updated and then she cut me off and proceeded to tell me what the special was. The owner here is usually taking orders and is always really nice and super friendly, unfortunately in today's scenario, that wasn't the case.
