There is a sign saying short staffed. But with almost a full house we are getting good service. Our food came pretty quick. Very good tempura. Tuna rolls pretty small. Very little Wasabi. That's really just nit picking though. Come check this place out. Maybe I'll see you when I come back. Cause I'm commin back

If you want good sushi, this is the spot to go to. No complaints anytime I've gone. Always fresh

The most mid meal I have ever had in my life. Nothing close to stellar or solid. We got the golden dragon roll, the tempura maki roll, the tempura/tonkatsu dinner, and the chicken teriyaki. The tempura maki was badly made since it kept falling apart, and it needed more sauce. But it wasn't awful. The golden dragon roll was overpriced for how mid it was. The salmon and the sauce were bland and I wasn't a fan of the temperature difference between the ingredients. But again, not awful, just not great. The tonkatsu was crispy, which was surprisingly good, and the sauce had tolerable flavor. But the meat was dry. The shrimp tempura was too doughy and bland, and its designated sauce was also so bland that soy sauce was a better dip. The chicken teriyaki had sauce but there was a stronger burnt flavor that overpowered anything else. The service was alright. We weren't attended to at all, and you'd need to grab someone's attention to get anything. Which is forgivable since it was a busy place, but not forgivable for its food.

Sushi was decent and on the higher end pricing wise, which was fine. However, all dishes came out piece by piece which prolonged our dinner. Then we discovered that the party if 6 we had meant the tab would include a 18% gratuity, which wasn't posted anywhere. That even wouldn't be an issue but we didn't get one dish cleared while we were there or checked on even once. I had to ask the server for the items we needed such as plates and soy sauce dishes, we barely had napkins or forks and also never even got refilled water or tea. We were very thirsty the whole time and Our server was nowhere to be found. So not service deserving of an almost a $30 tip . They don't tell you about the added gratuity so look at the bill because they have a big tipping box on the check and if you don't check you might double tip. I tried to talk to the guy who suddenly appeared at the end about it and he just shrugged and snickered. So I felt the need to post to give a heads up to other patrons.

It's not a fancy place, but pretty quiet. The food is good and the servers are friendly and attentive. I always have lunch a bit early to beat the lunch crowd.

Great service, friendly atmosphere and clean space. My friends and I went for an early lunch and found this place. We were greeted immediately and seated promptly. The menu had a variety of selections. We ordered edamame starter, California rolls, a teriyaki bento box and all meat Phu. My inly disappointment was that the phu noodles looked like instant ramen noodles with just as much seasoning. Everyone else was happy with their selections.

Decided to stop in this university town to charge and have lunch... place was busy, service was good.Least favorite sushi my family ever had... everyone was very dissatisfied with the sushi's flavors or lack of it.Check your receipt before you add that tip or gratuity... my party of 6 was charged automatically with 18% gratuity... we weren't informed about this. If you weren't paying attention, you would end up paying ><50% on tips alone. The added tip suggestion is the total of your bill and the automatic gratuity. Is this even legal?$104.20 + $8.60- tax= $112.80$112.80 + $18.76 (18% gratuity of $112.80) = $131.56Added Tip$131.56 + $19.73 (15% gratuity of $131.56)= $151.29Refer to posted photos*Tipping is never an issue with my family. We often tip generously if we are really happy with the food and service...

I love their sushi, and the bento boxes during lunch are a great bang for your buck. The food always comes out pretty quickly too.
