I got some tacos here 11/21/23 and they were amazing carne asada seasoned so nicely… the meat melted in my mouth tortillas piping hott everything was fresh. I told the lady I like spice so she gave me an avocado crema that was amazing with a kick I ordered 3 then went back and ordered another 3 for my hubby. He said you should’ve ordered me 6!Great customer service from the lady, she was really nice. I’ll be back definitely ??

Honestly, they're one of the BEST and food is full of flavor! Not greasy, just perfect! Customer service is great! The only downside is that the truck might not be on site everyday. I've gone to Home Depot once, expecting the food truck, but they weren't there.

I have followed this taco truck since 1993. AMAZING FOOD! FRIENDLY STAFF & AWESOME LOCATION. I live in LA now but travel back to Merced to eat tacos at this awesome taco truck. Don't get me wrong. The food is amazing but they will not help you when wanting to order something specific. Since I'm doing the keto diet I asked the lady if she could do a salad bowl with meat,cheese,sour cream,quac and lettuce. She said "I don't have that stuff" when it clearly shows that she did on the menu. I continued to ask nicely if she would just be able to make it and put it in a bowl. She continued to argue with me and said the has flat boxes and that it wouldn't work well...mind you,it would have been fine. Not recommended if you are on a special diet or have special requests. Update: after my husband came back with all of the food he told me that the lady said that she made something for me and that it was on the house. She was able to fix together a plate that had a bed of lettuce with al pastor on top. I really appreciate her doing so and that's why I gave this place a 5 star review. I'm assuming she might have just been confused of my order. She attended to my requests.

The tacos are nice and juicy, not dry compared to other places. This is now one of my favorite taco trucks to visit when visiting Merced.

Came here to get two burritos earlier and was very very disappointed. The inside was cold and the tortilla was cold as well. The red salsa was horrible,was not spicy as well. The meat was not good. My other burrito didn't even have rice in it:(!!
