I love this place since I was a little girl. However, the papaya doesnt taste the same anymore. I dont know what it is, but the flavor is not as good as it once was. Everything else is still pretty on point and delicious.
Want real Lao food?...then you must try this gem. It is Take-Out only, and I would affectionally call it a hole-in-the-wall great authentic place to buy Lao specialties. The owners are the cooks, so ice, and you can't beat their "som tam" papaya salad.My wife is Thai and I lived in Thailand so feel am a good judge of Isaan and in this case, real Lao food. Try it!We are from Las Vegas and if passing through again will certainly make this a "Must" go to stop.

Delicious food! We ordered one of almost everything and loved it. Better than our favorite Thai place where we live. Seems very authentic. Consider downgrading by one spice level -- we got the papaya salad medium and it was still really spicy. The definition of hole in the wall--it's located inside the carniceria (Mexican deli) in the corner of the plaza. They only do takeout, no tables to eat there. Prices were great and portions were large. Will definitely stop again.
