I ordered the spicy kung pao bowl and 2 bao combo with a Sprite on Uber Eats today and I have to say I'm pretty disappointed, it's definitely not worth the price for either the portions or the taste. Besides forgetting my sprite, The BBQ pork baos were kinda dry and mealy but tasty enough to be edible, and the kung pao bowl felt like it was more sauce than chicken, with a disappointingly small amount of rice.And this costs $20? It feels like a kids meal, honestly. You'd be better served driving a bit further to Panda Express, or any of the litany of other Asian/Thai/Chinese places in Merced you can find around the area.Save your money and don't bother with Wow Bao.

The food just wasn't good. I saw all the great reviews and then was very disappointed. The bao was bland, flavorless and there was too much dough and not enough meat. I couldn't even finish eating it.

9/4/2022I ordered this restaurant for the first time. Food was good. 2 pork BAO, 8 dumplings (pot stickers), 1 orange chicken bowl, and 1 KUNG PAO bowl. $45.00 total. My order delivery time took 50 minutes.
