Always good food. Portions are definitely smaller than they used to be. Sharing the Calamari (Frito Misto) appetizer was definitely a smaller portion, and the salmon main entree, while tasty, was also smaller. The salmon was on fresh asparagus stalks and both were prepared beautifully. Service was excellent.

Nice ambiance on outdoor deck overlooking the water. My friend raved about her arugula salad. We all loved the burrata appetizer. My sugo with papardelle was a disappointment. Papardelle was stuck together, gooey and more than al dente.

The food was excellent and the service good too...as we got to the end of our meal and the restaurant was very busy, our order for tea and coffee for dessert, we waited about 15 minutes to get it, despite trying to get the staffs attention.

The ambient music (Reggaeton) was very loud and a bit obtrusive for our tastes. My brunch special wasn't particularly appetizing either. The potatoes in the hash were overly oily and the short ribs were mostly fat. A regretful menu choice. The quality food, service and atmosphere of pre-pandemic Piatti's is no longer. Management seems to be more interested in being trendy and popular than in the quality of their food and in giving patrons a fine dining experience. Even their telephone voice message is unnecessarily lofty and pretentious: “Marin's premier waterfront dining destination”. Please. Service was lackluster as well. I had to motion to the server on three separate occasions for basic beverage service. This post-pandemic Piatti's iteration is a disappointment.

I had never been to Piatti before, and it was a treat. Such a beautiful setting. I had driven by for many years, but I had never imagined that it was waterfront with such a beautiful view out the entire back of the restaurant. Food and service were excellent. I will definitely return.
We came to celebrate my son‘s birthday. When we got there, there was a birthday card at his seat. They went above and beyond to make it a special evening for my family and my son. They even gave us tiramisu!

Fresh food served in a spectacular venue. Hostess was especially helpful. Staff service on all levels were stellar. Highly recommend to any & all who would enjoy a quality meal.

We started with a few drinks from the bar and had some burrata. I had the bolognese and my wife had the ricotta/spinach ravioli. Service was impeccable, food was great, and the vibe was perfect. I asked for a romantic corner table and they provided. We love this restaurant for so many reasons. Five stars.. No, TEN!
The food overall was really good with the squash and burrata antipasto being the delicate a star of our meal. They had a great selection of Italian wines to pair with meals and allowed us to taste in advance to make sure we were happy with our selection. It wasn't a very busy so we got amazing service. This is a nice little gem to have in the neighborhood.

Get the impossible meat lasagna!! It is absolutely amazing! I drive from San Mateo across the entire peninsula and the Golden Gate bridge to get this.

Upon arrival the host greeted me by name and confirmed my reservation requests. We opted to eat outside as the weather was favorable. Service was prompt, warm and frequent. Food was memorable and we are looking forward to our next visit. Thank you Piatti, we'll be back.

We had a lovely lunch at Piatti. This is the first time we have been since the remodel and it is very nice. The service was excellent and very friendly. We all had pastas that were delicious. My husband and I had sparkling Prosecco and our friend had a nice Chianti. We finished with coffee and all remarked what a nice experience it was and how good the service and food were.
It took almost an hour to get our food. 40 mins. Had to rush to eat because we had an appointment after lunch. Waitress never brought a to go box, so I rushed to eat my leftovers. Then left to our appointment.
