Our long-time, good friends brought us here before we went up the mountain, and we had a wonderful lunch-- and the pineapple mimosas were amazing!!

Visited Tamalpie Sunday afternoon after a hike in Tiburon and was pleasantly surprised. They have a cozy outdoor seating area with a fire pit which is very nice. We ordered the calamari and Caesar salad to start. The Caesar was very good, but on the heavier side with dressing. We ordered the Tenderfoot and Railroad Grade pizzas, which balanced one another out perfectly. The Tenderfoot was a white sauce with mushrooms, while the Railroad Grade had your typical tomato sauce and provided the right amount of saltiness with the pepperoni. Loved that the pizza was super thin crust, yet held its form with a nice crisp. Would definitely come again if in the area!

My friends and I came to Tamalpie after hiking in Marin and we were STARVING. We brought our dog to the dog friendly outdoor seating which was a plus. The waitress was friendly and attentive and our food came out quickly. The calamari wasn't as crispy as I usually like but it could have been because we put lemon on it. The Caesar salad was good but didn't blow me away since the dressing was unevenly dispersed. The star of the show was the Tenderfoot (mushroom) pizza! The crust was soft and baked to perfection. My boyfriend really liked the Railroad grade (pepperoni) pizza and also agreed that the crust was fantastic. I would definitely go back and sit outside on the patio by the fireplaces on a cool night. I love that it's dog friendly!

Food was delicious and my non alcoholic drink was so tasty and refreshing. Service was on point, everyone was so friendly and attentive. Who wouldn't love eating by a warm fire and enjoying great company! I loved the ambiance overall. Highly recommend the Tenderfoot pizza, or any pizza really, their dough is amazing!

My husband and I had dinner here on Tuesday and we were blown away by how delicious the food was. The special salad was exquisite with hazelnuts and crispy onion. The Wild Mushroom Risotto was creamy and cheesy and a taste sensation. The pear and apple brioche bread pudding sent us into rapturous delight! It was an elevated dining experience in a warm and welcoming local place. We cannot recommend it enough.

I was overcharged during my first visit to this restaurant in January. Fortunately, my credit card company notified me with an alert. Despite reaching out to the restaurant on two separate occasions, the issue remains unresolved. Initially, my details were recorded with a promise of a refund. On my second attempt, I spoke with an individual named Diego, who assured me he would rectify the situation, yet nothing was done. This situation is particularly disappointing as I genuinely appreciated the food and service at this place.

The nearly $50 pizza we ordered was soggy, salty, and tasteless. It's the first time my son has left pizza on his plate. My husband didn't enjoy his non pizza order either. The ingredients and quality don't seem to match their prices. It didn't taste fresh at all.

Thus is a gorgeous little eatery! Homemade papperdel pasta was unexpected/different yet delicious! Pepperoni and sausage pie was wonderful...crust was especially yummy. Drinks were good with square ice cubes...not watered down. Service was excellent...enthusiasm in answering questions about their food and always there when we needed something. Spectacular all around!

This place feels and acts like it would be delivering a much higher quality product but unfortunately, the food just didn’t match the ambience and the service. The Caesar salad we ordered was tasty, but the two pizzas were really average and lackluster. The crust was chewy and tasteless and even though the pizza had just come out of the oven, the cheese was sticky and also pretty yuck. With so many good options nearby I’d pass on this one.

Soggy, tasteless pizza that was also somehow dry in some parts. I regret being subjected to the experience of having to dine at this establishment. The service, food, and atmosphere were all subpar. I understand why this place is always empty. They charge $50 for an 18" pizza. Absolutely ridiculous and not worth even a fraction of that cost. The owner claims they use the finest ingredients. This woman is delusional. The pizza tasted like garbage and you can tell they are using the cheapest ingredients they can get their greedy hands on. You can get an 18" pizza from Costco for $9.95 that legitimately tastes better. Overall very disappointing experience. Wish this place would just hurry up and shut down like their other location.

The service was good and quick. Had a bit of wait but would recommend reserving in advance if you are more than 2 folks. The servers were very polite and friendly. The atmosphere was nice with rain. We sat outside and it was warm enough. The food was okay. We had the Brussels sprouts, arancini, green salad and tenderfoot pizza. Overall would recommend the salad and brussel sprouts. The arancini was okay and the pizza felt salty and didn't have enough taste.
