We tried the binka cupcakes and sesame latte. The ube flan and mango cream cupcakes were delicious, but pricey at $5. The sesame latte was atrocious though…it tasted like oversteamed milk with black sesame. Couldn’t stand it after a few sips. Atmosphere was odd…very quiet, no music, and it feels like a hospital waiting room. Definitely not a place to hang out. Sad to say we won't be back.

Following a gluten free diet, I am so happy to be able to enjoy the treats from Binka Bites. I have been to both of their locations and been greeted warmly by the staff. My mother and I opted to sit down and enjoy our treats in the Millbrae location. It was bright and welcoming. The hot coffee and chocolate paired well with the classic bibingka bite.

I love ube, so I was excited to go here! I got two ube flan cupcakes! They were delicious and packed with flavor and wasn't too sweet. Would def want to try their other cupcakes like the Marapuno and Vietnamese coffee next time :) The ube latte could've been stronger in flavor overall. Interior was cute/clean/nice place to sit and have coffee and work or chat. Service was quick and friendly. Would recommend the desserts!

Binka Bite: 4 out of 5 Had the Ube Lanka binka cupcake. These binka bites are Filipino inspired mochi goodness. In Filipino culture bibingka is a more dense dessert. These are definitely a lot lighter with a modern twist!! They nailed the mochi consistency. I didn't taste much of the ube, but the langka (a.k.a jackfruit) is there. The langka gives the cake a nice light citrus tropical taste. Environment: 5 out of 5 Café vibes Service: 5 out of 5 Overall: 4.5 out of 5 Give the binka bite a try with your coffee or a dessert to share after a savory meal!

Ordered the black sesame latte and honestly, was not worth the price. Drink was watered down and basically was more milk versus the sesame flavor. Also, staff wasn't very attentive when I ordered and required me to remind them more than once that my drink was skipped and needed to be made.

Actually, 2.5 stars IMHO. I had been Jonesing BB for some time after seeing them on IG. I guess I had built them up too high with anticipation, however. From what I can tell, all (except for the Ube ones) of the cupcakes start with the original/base bibingka. It is the toppings which impart the "flavors". Once those are gone, you know what remains right? My original intention was to just pick up the cupcakes. However, I ordered with my hungry stomach which led me to get a Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich and the Strawberry Matcha Latte, as well. I paid $7 for a lackluster sando the size of a hotdog with bun. It consisted of just meat and cheese. Where were the peppers and onions. The SML was just ok. They should have pureed the strawberry as the 1/4 and 1/2 sized strawberry pieces could not make it up the straw.

Recently discovered a new bakery in town! They probably have been here for a while but I last remember this location as a Japanese shaved ice place. My friend and I each ordered a baked good to share and they were very delicious. It was a bread pudding babingka and matcha custard cream cupcake. The calamari's matcha tastes weird to me so not sure if I would order this again as it felt like a green juice so it wasn't what I was expecting. The baked goods are good so I would definitely try other things next time.

I haven't had Binka Bites for a very long time. The setting of the location in South San Francisco have changed since the dawn of COVID19. Customers are not allowed to go inside since the set-up was replaced as a food-to-go type of bakery. Fortunately, this location opened around in 2023. This place is probably 4 times as big as compared to the original location. The ambience is fantastic! It is very clean, neat, and well organized. The food is as tasty as usual. Plus, they have additional drinks such as the Oreo Blizz, my new favorite drink. I understand the customer's complaints of the prices of the food. But for someone who also works in the Bay Area, business owners must deal with their expenses such as the rent, cost of ingredients, staff wages, maintenance, water, electricity, taxes and so on. The state of California has the most regulations on businesses in all of United States. The state also has the highest tax rates in the country. Overall, I'm glad to visit this new location. I am happy for the dynamic duo siblings, Jo and Jas to expand their business.

Not the same recipe or quality as the one in South SF. (I hope the old location still has the same recipe). The ube-flan babingka at this location was pale and less buttery. Also more mushy and wet. Disappointing but I hope they make improvements at this location and remain consistent and have the same quality.

Came here Saturday morning arrived when they opened. Staff here was not friendly. We were the first to arrive as we were in the area. Did not get an acknowledgment. Staff did not seem like they wanted to work and were very disorganized. We just got coffee and left. Coffee is mid and there are better selections in the area. I wouldn't recommend solely based on the customer experience.

Waited 30 minutes for two drinks and waited us to followed up our drink to make it. The cashier cleary see us waiting in front for our order, so no reason to forget our drink. It's so dissapointing. Ended up asking for refund and gave us one drink that's already pre made.

Over priced food items, service is slow. The place is very clean. Binka bites are too sweet, I don't feel the "chewiness". Empanada is very expensive.

Was excited to try a new coffee place, but alas I have to keep looking. Ordered the black sesame latte along with 2 of the crinkle cookies. The latte was super hot! Had to leave the lid off for a few minutes and still burned my tongue. Didn't really taste any coffee, it was more like black sesame milk. Which isn't bad but just not what I wanted. On the flip side, the crinkle cookies were great! Tried one of ube and one of pandan. I liked the ube more but only because it was more fudgy/doughy. Definitely would get coffee elsewhere, but they're moreso known for their baked goods anyway.

Binka Bites should open early in the morning like around 7am it's a breakfast meal. Specially around the Millbrae area dapat itayo ang bandera ng Pilipino wala hindi kayo sisikat nyan specially its close to the hospital sayang naman.

I never got to try the Binka Bites location in South City, but I got the opportunity to go to the Millbrae location for the first time. My rating is personally more of a 3.5 stars because the prices for everything here is pretty steep especially for a town like Millbrae. I personally don't think it's the best bang for your buck, but I can't deny that these cupcakes are very moist and tasty despite the lack of size. The drinks I don't think are great value personally. The service and ambiance is great overall. I got the Dulce de Leche Milk Tea with boba ($6.50) and this is personally what tanked my rating for this store so much because $6.50 for a small cup of milk tea where you can barely even taste tea is disappointing. The boba was also very strange and had the texture of crystal/agar boba rather than being chewy and soft. It also had a fruity flavor which I didn't expect. The dulce de leche aspect was also just overpowering in terms of sweetness. When there are stores nearby with great drinks at similar prices or lower this is certainly underwhelming. The hot drinks are also even more shocking to see how small the cups are for over $6. 2.5/10 Of course their specialty is their cupcakes and they may have more personality than size, but they have a great personality and aren't overly sweet. I got the Matcha Custard and Ube Macapuno ($4.95 each). Once again, the cupcakes because the $4.95 is a lot to stomach for your wallet. The custard flavor you taste more than the matcha flavor in the cupcake, but what stands out the most is the texture and I never had a cupcake this moist. Value for your money is subjective, but for me these are cupcakes I can only get every once in a while. 8/10 flavor wise. Without sounding like a broken record. Their bites are much more worth getting than the drinks and everything is pricey, but it's still worth experiencing yourself and it is a nice place to hang out in with how well designed the interior is.
