Chef Wang's is a nice little spot serving up delicious Chinese Korean cuisine. We ordered the Seafood Combination, Salt and Pepper Fish, and Jjampong (Spicy Seafood Noodle Soup). The Seafood Combination was deliciously umami with plenty of the wok flavor. It included scallops, sea cucumbers, shrimp, and plenty of choy so definitely a great dish to share. Salt and Pepper Fish was fried nicely and had a beautifully crunchy texture. This peppers were not as spicy, so we added a few sprinkles of white pepper to bring up the heat. A nice cook on it nonetheless. The JJampong portion here is huge and can definitely share between two or three people with plenty of noodles to go around. The soup is adorn with zucchini, cabbage, onions, shrimp, clams, and small slices of pork. The broth is ever so spicy, not too salty. I am used to the broth having more of a seafood flavor, but this one definitely had more of a vegetable broth taste. Service was nice and attentive, but restaurant was a bit more empty as we had arrived mid day. Overall, there was plenty of flavor in the fishes, good portions, and we can't wait to come here again to try other dishes as the menu is quite unique given its combination of cultures.

This is our go to spot for dan dan mein. We usually order dan dan mein, cham cha soup noodle, and this time salt and pepper fish filet. Dan Dan Mein 4/5: This is a yummy dish but this last time we went the noodles were not as chewy. I am wondering if they are still hand pulled or are they store bought? Still the best place in the area for dan dan mein though imho. Cham cha soup noodle 4/5: This is a good dish to get when you can't decide what to get! You get half of the ja jueng mein and half a spicy seafood soup. Best of both worlds! The ja jeung mein is a bit more savory than the dan dan mein and the soup is nice or have on a cold blustery day. You can go wrong with this dish! Salt and pepper fish filet 4/5: The fish was crispy and just the right amount of salt! Not overly greasy either so yum! The reason it's only 4 vs 5 stars is because it is a bit of a hole in the wall so you just need to embrace it!

Great place for some hand pulled noodles. I'm not sure if they make it there themselves, but it's really good. They tend to give a good amount of food for the price. The salt and pepper wings and pork chops are excellent. They have the best kimchi. It doesn't have that vinegar sour taste, it's a little sweet, which our family likes. Too bad they don't sell the kimchi though. That staff is super friendly. I have been come here for years. The place could a little updating, but I'm fine with it the way it is. If they update , then prices may go up.

My family suggested that we try this place for dinner, and to my surprise, it's really decent. Food-wise, it's not "authentic", authentic, but hey, for what it is, it's really solid. Weekday lunch specials, beef and broccoli, sweet and sour chicken...your standard Chinese food (with American influence). Good, quick service. Parking is an issue since it's right on El Camino. Pretty good spot.

This restaurant was recommend to me and was said to be excellent. We ordered in and carried out to enjoy at home on a rainy night. The food was ok for the most part but my sesame chicken had many pieces which seemed very overcooked or maybe left over from a previous cooking (very hard and dry straw-like texture). Maybe if we would’ve eaten inside the restaurant it would’ve been different. I wish I could give it a better rating. Try this place at your own risk. I hope your experience is better than mine was.Parking: Very limited parking. A couple spots behind and then only street parking.Wheelchair accessibility: I think a wheelchair should fit through the door.

The only thing we knew ahead of time about Chef Wang's Chinese Restaurant was that it remained open until 10 pm on a Friday when our flights landed later than scheduled at the airport. Most of the Asian places in Millbrae close at 9:00 or 9:30 which didn't work with our delayed arrival. When we showed up, the dining room with approximately ten tables was completely empty. Supposedly, there was an ownership change earlier this year which I read in one of the reviews. The cuisine style was a mix of Mandarin, Hunan, and Szechuan. All of these have typically spicier dishes than what we prefer. The goal was to eat a little bit before turning in so we picked a couple of noodle dishes to share... Seafood Chow Mein and Beef Chow Fun. Both were priced competitively, however that made sense later when the serving sizes were smaller than what we have been accustomed to. The beef dish was much better executed. The flat noodles were cooked properly, and the amount of meat was good. On the other hand, the seafood dish was more like lo mein. I counted only five pieces of seafood on the plate... two shrimp, two scallops, one squid. That was as skimpy as I have experienced for seafood noodles. Overall, Chef Wang did the job of quelling our hunger. The quality and quantity of the two items were worth three stars.

I was looking for a party tray of chow mein for a kids party and came across this restaurant online. They were quick to answer the phone and provide answers for the questions I had. It’s a hole in the wall…location is in a bad spot where you’ll probably drive past it while on the main road. When I opened the door, no customers and seemed like a slow day. The front desk person told me the prices and took my order down for pick up in a few days. The food was alright…nothing special and a little dry for my taste compared to other local spots. I probably wouldn’t order it again but service was good. I might have to come back and try other things.

Delicious! We were craving Chinese food delivery later in the night, but our usual spot was closed. Well, Chef Wang is now our usual spot! Everything was delicious. We ordered chow mein, fried rice, Mongolian beef, and spring rolls - all fantastic!

I always try to stop somewhere and get more authentic Chinese food than what we have in the valley when I fly at SFO, stopped by this place this time and was very impressed by all three dishes we ordered. I'll for sure be back

This is a very ‘local’ restaurant, (the table next to us was filled with food and cooking supplies) but we would eat there again in a heartbeat because the food was absolutely amazing! Our whole family loved it!
