This is the place to go if you're craving duck or traditional Chinese comfort food. Duck from Cheung Hing is and always has been YUMMY! But very very disappointed that they've increased their whole duck price to an exorbitant amount. To protest, I will now only eat duck on special occasions. They'd probably make more via volume if they lowered their price back down to something reasonable. If I was a billionaire, I'd still say the same! Anyway, this is also a great place to go for dinner with the family/extended family, and the service is good!

Ordered on Uber Eats and there was a piece of metal in my soup. Absolutely disgusting and I will be reporting this to the health inspector!!

reasonable price, authentic HK BBQ food, service is so so. BBQ pork - just average Roasted pork - crispy skin, it depends on which part of the pork you get. sometime the meat is too hard. porkchop with spicy salt - the best, must order. 椒鹽排骨 claypot rice - nice. Will be back to try other items on the menu. Parking is hard though.

First time here and got a whole roast duck to go for $33.50, tax included. I ordered in Cantonese and paid cash. The uncle helped me choose a duck, but I decided on a different one. He was slightly offended, but still friendly. He chopped the duck up, placed it in a box, and laddled some duck drippings all over. You can buy whole or half ducks or chickens as well as char sui and roast pork. This is a dine in restaurant with a to-go counter. Their rice plates look good too so I'll have to try that next time. There's plenty of street parking surrounding the area and a public parking lot near by. Got home to eat. Duck was delicious and meaty. It wasn't too salty. It was definitely worth the trip to get some legit roast duck because roast duck in SJ is trash. I dont even bother looking for it in SJ. Maybe my tastebuds are spoiled because I grew up eating SF roast duck. There are a couple to-go food places in SF with the same Cheung Hing name that I've been to. Not sure if they are related to this restaurant, but I wouldn't be surprised if they were. It might be why the duck here is so good. Give it a try ;)

I didn't really like the salty egg yolk with pumpkin but my partner did. The beef chow mein was ok. The string beans were good. The only disappointment was the Yang zhou Fried Rice. It was bland with absolutely no flavor. They give you a free dish of Chicken and Pig Stomach with Wasabi Sauce when you spend $68 and that was good. Overall I would come here again.

The service was very good ? we appreciate them for their hospitality ✨️✨️Though my favorite dish was only the Sesame chicken, my husband ordered lo mein amd the sauce was not good at all he said it tasted like sewage. My BBQ pork chow mein was bland and flat please can you do a better job with the cooking.

Everything was delicious! The fried rice was flavorful and not too salty or greasy, the portions are very generous. The Malaysia chow fun was delicious! It had a nice little kick and the curry was not overpowering, and they were very generous with the shrimp. The braised mushroom with tofu was very good and I recommend getting this for a veggie, the tofu was soft and delicate with the sauce soaked in. The salt and Pepper pork chop was mediocre in my opinion, I've had a lot of better salt and pepper pork chops. It was not as crispy as I'd liked it and the flavor of the garlic and jalapeños didn't really penetrate the pork chops. The Peking spare ribs on the other hand were fire! I highly recommend getting this and eating it over rice. The meat was flavorful and tender, while the sauce was sweet, tangy, with light vinegar notes. Overall, this is a great restaurant for Chinese take out or even dining in.

The won ton was acceptable and the porridge was good. Visit the place in another day and ordered won ton soup with noodles, noodles with cha siu and roasted duck, roast duck plate and roasted pork. Also bought a lotus leave sticky rice Chinese with peanuts but very little or no meat…the Buddha delight was acceptable and the fried calamari was very good. The roasted duck and roasted pork over rice was acceptable

They don't really speak English here, came in to order roasted pork and roasted duck to go after coming from the SFO airport. Ordered a half duck and 1lb roasted pork, total came out to be $36. The pork didn't have crispy skin, it was just meat which was a bummer because the skin is my favorite part. It had a good meat to fat ratio, I just wish there was skin!! The duck was just alright, nothing special. Overall edible but not the best for roasted duck or pork.

Ate at Cheung Hing for the first time - drove over from Oakland to have lunch with my friend. Her (Cantonese) family goes here frequently. I ordered the Eggplant & Fish in Garlic Sauce Claypot (medium spice) and loved it! My friend ordered rice porridge (jook) - it was good - and Chinese donuts, which were delicious, freshly made and not greasy. I'd happily drive back again (29 miles, 40 minutes on a Sunday morning) to try more of their many dishes.

Good food the convenience of large party orders! We had a Chinese new year party with family (about 17 ppl) but decided the day before where to order. So glad we tried this for party trays! Food 5/5: Don't believe the serving sizes they say! It's actually a LOT more food than you think!! Small trays can feed 10 people for sure Medium trays can feed 20 ppl. I can't imagine how big the Large trays looked like but if you expect to have multiple dishes, it'll prob feed 30-40. We ordered a couple mediums and had so much leftover - they looked like larges! - chicken and salted fish fried rice (medium) $88 - salt and pepper wings (medium) $75- everyone killed these! - chow fun dry w chicken (medium) $75 - broccoli beef (small) $60 - sweet sour pork (small) $60 Price 4/5: I can't say the food isn't worth the price but it definitely made our lives easier. it's pretty costly for even small trays. As you can see above, trays can cost up to $100 each easily. Our total came out to almost $400 with so much leftover, but I guess you can't put a price on convenience! Service 5/5: We called a day ahead in case and it was already packaged by the time we got there. There was so much to carry they let us carry some and come back to take the rest. Overall, everyone loved the food and wanted to order from here again for the next gathering. Everyone also packed up as much leftovers to take with them too! Tip: just order the small trays especially if you're getting multiple items. Just look at my pics for reference lol

3.5 stars There are so many Cheung Hing's in the Bay area, I counted up to six with same name but not sure if they are all related or owned by the same people. So far the Noriega/Sunset location is our favorite spot for Chinese BBQ, recently also had take out from the San Mateo place during Super Bowl and enjoyed the roasted pork and duck. Placed an order yesterday at this Milbrae location to be picked up on our way to visit a family member near SFO. The food was well received. -Large combination BBQ platter with 5 items (Grubhub @$48) the large takeout box was filled with roasted pork, Cha Sui, duck, steamed and soy chicken. The soy chicken tasted old, very salty and hard, the other four items were much better tasting. The other three items ordered were all decent, we had beef chow fun , chicken/salted fish fried rice and salt and pepper fish. Next time I'd probably call to order instead of using the on-line app since it didn't provide the options of whole duck/chicken or BBQ meat by the lb. Although not super impressed by the first try, we were in general satisfied with the food and may order again.

Roast meats are good earlier in the day. Don't get it for dinner, as it's drier and more salty. Roast duck rice or lo mein (dry wonton noodle with a side of broth) are good. Clay pot dishes are very good eating in the restaurant, as it's piping hot. Especially love the eggplant fish clay pot, fish clay pot (has braised tofu, shiitake mushrooms, fried fish fillet), tofu clay pot (has braised tofu, assorted meats - squid, fish, chicken, pork) Chow fun noodles (dry and wet kinds) and Singapore rice noodles are good. It seems like the sizes of dishes are larger when eating in vs. take out. Eat-in Lunch comes with complementary soup, Dinner comes with complementary sweet porridge. May need to ask for the dinner sweet porridge. Restaurant is clean and isn't usually crowded.
