Ordered the Raider sandwich, everything about it was delicious. The chicken was juicy, the produce was super fresh and the tomatoes were a rich red and super flavorful. The garlic sauce was soooo good. Service was great as well, and everyone was really friendly and kind. I was having a rough afternoon and having my lunch here turned my day around completely.

The person who helped me (I am assuming it was the owner) was very friendly, but it was a big turnoff when he used his bare hands to grab a pile of pre-sliced turkey out of the case and proceeded to prepare the rest of my sandwich without gloves or without washing his hands first. I should have declined and walked out. The sandwich was generously prepared with a very garlicky sauce.

We were convinced by a lady named Marge outside when we walked by talking about the history of this place. Cute little hidden gem and fabulous service :)

Finally had the chance to try this sandwich spot located in downtown Millbrae. I walked up to the counter and was greeted quickly. One of the employees asked what would like so I ordered the breakfast sandwich with bagel bun. The place is well-organized and has a wide selection of different sandwiches to choose from. The sandwich was delicious and I would come back again.

My father is a regular and he brought me to this excellent sandwich Deli while I visited San Francisco. I ordered one of the Premium Hot sandwiches and it was very good. The bread was so fresh and the fillings were very generous and great value. I highly recommend this place for Breakfast, Brunch or Lunch. The staff were very friendly, hard working and it was excellent service. I went back again cause it was so good. Highly recommened.

Not fancy but very friendly every time I go in. Gary goes out of gis way for his customers. Whether I am there to order my lunch, arrange for catering, or a scavenger hunt, Gary is always happy to help.

I never knew about this place until I saw it on UberEats. I love great sandwiches, and it being so close meant I had to try.I think I went with the #2 sandwich and something similar to it which was Warrior and Yankee Clipper, both on dutch crunch.I ate the Yankee Clipper first and damn, it was bussin' (sooo good!). The bacon was super tasty and crunchy (but not hard) - and the whole sandwich seemed to disappear in front of me haha. The next day, I reheated and had the Warrior sandwich - which was still a great sandwich but I did miss the bacon in the Yankee Clipper. No regrets though, maybe the Warrior would have been better right? Overall, delicious sandwich, great location for those in Millbrae, and it seems like the shop is locally owned so it's great to support small businesses :) Thanks Leonardo's!

The best sandwiches on the peninsula. You just have to support local businesses. I try to go there at least once a week to get my fix

If I could give this business 0 stars, I would most definitely without hesitation. For starters, I am not a regular customer here but a friend of mine likes their sandwiches. After today's experience, I will never support or give them my business ever again. Importantly, when I called to place an order for pick up, an impatient man picked up. I started off asking questions about the menu and instead of making me feel like a valued customer, he rushed me over the phone and before I could even add any sides to the sandwiches I was ordering, he quickly cut me off and said it will be ready in 15 minutes. At this point I'm already annoyed but go anyways to pick up order. When I arrive I walk in and I see the man but continue walking to back to order coleslaw. Two women standing on their phones don't even care to put it away and tend to me, the customer. So, I kindly say hello, may I order one small serving of coleslaw. One of the ladies proceed to help and ask if I needed anything else. I let her know I'm here for a pickup over the phone. I walk to the register thinking the man would help me but instead a regular customer came in and all his attention went elsewhere. So rude, so I stood there waiting while he had small talk with the regular and at this point I was loosing my patience. To make me even more upset, the man walks to the lady that helped me with my coleslaw and says "Do you know why the young lady is standing there?" Then I lock eyes with the man and all I'm thinking is why else would I be standing by the register, obviously I'm ready to check out smh. Finally, he walks over, helps me check out and of course I leave a $0 tip. I always try to leave a tip but this man and overall this business didn't deserve one after how upset and frustrated I was.Not to mention, based off looking at other reviews, I think the man's name is Gary. Be aware of Gary's customer service, it's very upsetting.

I too visited this horrible deli on the same day that Joe wrote his review, we were together and just like his, My sandwich was made improperly by his staff after clearly giving my order. My sandwich was simple bread, turkey, salt and pepper pesto and cheese hot, they couldn't get that right and the owner didn't give a rat's ass about the problem. He told me to eat it cold, we spent over 50 bucks on three sandwiches. He was a condescending prick and should retire. Upon remaking it I asked him to put salt and pepper on it and he told me they have it on the table, you are making my sandwich sir! You're not making your sandwich, because I paid for it to be that way. I don't care if you were busy. Customer service should be 100% regardless of the situation or remove yourself until you can gather your composition to resume running your business in a respectful manner On a side note, we did have some great conversation with some OG regulars. It was great chatting with them about the good times where people were still respectful and had good values. So not a complete bust
