Social Eatery is a space that has 2 restaurants and 1 boba place all in one - Noodleosophy, Rice Monster, and Grapeholic. It’s very close to the Millbrae BART/Caltrain station (a 3-minute walk) and also has a pretty big parking lot??.There’s a screen near the entrance for people that are just ordering boba to-go. If you’re there for dine-in, they’ll lead you to some seats and you can order from all three places at the same time. Lots of seats for dine-in and there’s even a foosball table⚽️.Our table had a QR code for you to see the menu and order but they brought a tablet over for us to order. Not sure why but I have no issues with that??‍♀️.We ordered Beef Stew & Tendon (公公半筋半腩) and Pickled & Sliced Beef (知府酸湯肥牛).Took a little while for the orders to arrive (almost thought that they were preparing everything from scratch and cutting a whole cow open on the spot?), and there were kids running around in the place so it was pretty loud?. But after tasting the food, I have to say that the wait was worth it! The servings were pretty big, and the broth was very flavorful. Wasn’t too overly seasoned and the texture of the noodles were great.

Order through QR code, but Service is still good. Drops are exceptional! Good neighborhood noodle spot!

Love the vibe in here. The food looks amazing and my dish was delish. I love that I could pick the noodles and level of heat. Service was great. Only complaint is it was very cold inside and I had a puffy jacket and scarf on. I'll definitely be back!

It's BOWL-tiful friendships that last through the times that makes me grateful. Came here with my longtime Dental Hygiene friend to catch up. Located inside Social Eatery .:: FOOD ::. Biang Biang Garlic Noodle $12.99: Comes with a mountain of bean sprout, broccoli, and biang biang noodles topped with garlic, ginger, cilantro and green onion. A little spicy kick to it. Loved the texture of the noodle, but wish we were able to add things to it, as it was plain without any meat. .:: Service / Ambiance / Parking ::. Terrible Service. Pretty much self service on everything. You order on your phone through QR code. Wait was super long and unorganized. Located inside Social Eatery, but there's no waitlist, no way to put your name down. You literally just wait at the door in line (very narrow if I may add), until a table opens up. They need to at least let you write your name down. My friend wanted to ask if we could add something on our order and the waiter was so rudely annoyed. He did a big sigh, rolled his eyes and was like no your order is in you cannot add anything. It was SO hard to flag ANYONE down, we just went up and grabbed things ourselves: napkins, to go box, etc. All the waiters literally did was bring food out and thats it. The place has a cute little exterior outside, when I went it was during Halloween week, it was decked out in Halloween decors. The inside had logs / wooden vibes as table. There were ones in high chairs, ones with benches, ones with low tables/ chairs. Parking was scary. The parking lot is SO narrow and small. I feel like its asking for an accident to happen. I would recommend parking on the street, its much more space and safer.

Meh, we ordered some kind of beef wide noodle soup and it was just ok. We had ordered it to go and it was only a short drive to the place we were going to eat it at....maybe 10 min at most? Anyhow the noodles I think the biang biang ones were stuck together as a large clump even after trying to soak it in the soup. I think the beef tasted ok but I just felt very underwhelmed by the dish and sadly for me I likely won't be back ordering from here. It just wasn't my jam.

Wow! I was craving noodles and came here and ordered the Garlic Biang biang noodles. I was blown away. These are so incredibly good and perfect for what I was craving. I don’t eat meat so I ordered the Garlic, which just had broccoli, garlic, bean sprouts, sesame oil and green onions. I added the tofu, which I don’t think I’d do next time. I didn’t get the green onions so I asked for some and they gave me a side. Definitely be back for this!Vegetarian options: Garlic Noodles

I ordered more than 40 minutes before I showed up at the restaurant. As in I ordered online, where the restaurant told me it would be ready at 12:07. I arrived at 12:11 to pick it up right before my train but was told it'd be ready in 5 minutes. Needless to say, I missed my train. I dont understand the point of ordering online if my food isn't ready when specified. I mean I'd be fine if I showed up early and it wasn't ready but almost 50 minutes after ordering is, I believe, a reasonable amount of time to expect my food. That withstanding, the food was actually yummy. I ordered the mild spicy beef stew with biang biang noodles. The broth was light, sweet and sour. The beef was tender and flavorful. The noodles were soft and chewy. I just wouldn't count on take out orders. Next time, if going again, I would eat inside.

I've been here several times during lunch because I work nearby and it always hits the spot for me. The atmosphere is very casual and fits the name "Social Eatery". You can order from a QR code menu and the staff will bring you the food with minimum wait. The Beef Stew & Tendon is my go-to selection. The portion is large and they give a generous amount of meat and tendon! The only issue I have is the price because it comes out to around $20 after tax and a service fee. Overall, a very tasty bowl of noodles but can cost an arm and a leg.

No service at all. No water is provided. I can also smell odor from the restroom sitting at the bar. A mandatory 15% tip is charged on the bill, which is ridiculous for 0 service.

Not suggest dining in. No service and you have to pay it ahead of time. The service was charged 15% by default. The ordering system is not working and it takes a lot of time waiting.
