I recently had brunch at Gurukrupa, a cozy neighborhood restaurant with new ownership. The Podi Idli and Kothu Parotta were standouts, scoring 8/10 and 9/10 respectively. The owner's engaging conversation about the food added to the experience. We also received a complimentary Batata Vada, which was a solid 7/10. However, the Chole Kulche fell a bit short at around 6/10 due to an overpowering chat masala flavor. The Masala Chai was a highlight, earning a strong 9/10, while the Pav Bhaji impressed with a delicious 8/10 rating. The Rice Idli offered a decent option at 7/10. Unfortunately, the Malai Soya Chaap didn't live up to expectations. Overall, despite the tight parking, Gurukrupa offers a great dining experience worth trying, especially for its friendly neighborhood vibe and tasty dishes.

It's a pretty good South Indian breakfast place! I almost tried everything at a time, and food quality was good. Food and service are good but if you want to go to a fancy place, it's not the one for you! Last but not least, it's a value for money place and worth a visit!

I went their with high expectations. I am a street food lover and We ordered quite a menu. Starting from vada pav, paneer frankie, bombay misal pav, puran poli to grilled cheese Sandwich for the kid. The puran poli was good, everything else were below average. I have had much better west indian snack in other places in Bay Area. Disappointed!

This location closed months ago. There's a new location on Tasman in Milpitas. Don't bother to come to this location. Find the new address in their website. No clue why they did not update Yelp.

Ordered food to try this new place but was very disappointed. Way better indo Chinese places in bay area than this one. Will not be ordering again. Schezwan fries 1/5 : Curly fries with bunch of spices added to it but had no taste Kachori chat 2/5: kachori was stale and extremely dry. Taste was okay but overall experience was not goodChilli paneer frankie 1/5: Very sour taste because of too much vinegar in it. No distinct taste than other chinese itemsChilli Garlic Noodles 2/5: it was okay in taste but was extremely oilyVeg manchurian 2.5/5: bit of sour and sweet taste. Better than other dishes

The entrees were good especially we liked the veg Momos,Hakka noodles and chilly garlic fried rice but I felt the starters were not so fresh. It tasted almost like it was frozen and re-fried. The chilly paneer, Gobi Manchurian appetizers we're unappetizing.

Really poor quality!Had ordered Chilli Paneer, Veg Manchurian, Chilli Garlic Fried Rice and Veg Hakka Noodles. Chilli Paneer was extremely sour and was reeking of vinegar. In addition it has some obnoxious flavor.Chilli Garlic Rice and Veg Hakka noodles had same appearance and were flavorless. Both had absolutely no salt. Veg Manchurian made up for lack of salt in both rice and noodles. It was extremely salty and it too had some weird sweet taste. All in all a disappointing experience.

This is the Indo-Chinese "branch" of Annapoorna, the most popular restaurant in the Bay Area that serves Mahastrian food. True to their quality and service, our take out experience has been great all along. We've ordered veg manchurian, hakka noodles, veg fried rice so far and everything was made well.
