This is (not sure if it's always been, but it is now at least) one of those white people Mexican restaurants. You know how they say you can tell how good a restaurant is by what kind of people are eating there.. well yea. I had hope, the chips were good but the salsa wasn't spicy. The drinks were very yummy! I got a margarita and my fiancé got a michelada. The servers were very nice and had great service. Our only bad review is on the food itself. I ordered the chile rellenos and my fiancé ordered the camarones a la diabla. I only have a picture of my food but the beans on both orders come with yellow American cheese (neither of us have seen this before). The sauce my chile rellenos were in was a brown color.. the taste was alright. The sauce on the camarones a la diabla was chunky and also discolored from what we are used to. The rice was good but it tasted like microwave rice. Overall, if you want real authentic Mexcican food, this might not be your place. If you like watered down, Americanized Mexican food, then this is your spot! I understand restaurants have to accommodate for their customers and the majority in their region so maybe this is what happened here.

Vegetarian options: Vegetarian bowl is amazing (friend veggies with a choice of Quinoa or Mexican rice as a base). Vegetarian Fajitas is also a good option.

*new* they have added new menu items! Specifically salmon. The preparation is just right and served with Mexican seasonings along with grilled vegetables in a creamy tangy sauce! A must try! This is a neighborhood spot in all the best possible ways. The food is delicious and the service is good. As a guacamole addict, I recommend you give it a try. It is the right balance of creamy to spicy.

While I normally go to San Jose for Mexican food, since I was near Milpitas, I decided to check this place out after seeing the good reviews. Unfortunately, their carne asada was not it. The meat seemed to be of lower quality and had a strange flavor that is different from how carne asada is supposed to be. If a Mexican restaurant wants to be considered good, one of the basic requirements is having good carne asada. The chips and salsa that initially came out were decent, but that doesn’t make up for the low quality of the meat.

A very polite gentleman at the entrance greeted me with a smile as I was picking up my orders. It was nice to experience the friendly and courteous service of this restaurant being even just a food delivery person! A lot of restaurants lack that! Great service!!! Thank you!

Soggy, stale nachos, probably microwaved to melt cheese. Asked NO pico de gallo , seems like they heard no guacamole and sour cream also because they didn't put any. Steak meat definitely isn't made to be carne asada more like seasoned steak with extra pepper. If you're looking for some mexican style nachos this is not the place.

The food was just ok :( They started charging for a second basket of chips and their side salads which was very disappointing. I hadn't been there for quite awhile and they said they just started charging for the extra chips and salads that day :( Even though the service was great I don't think I will be going back any time soon :(
