Ate outside my comfort zone at a Chinese restaurant since it was halal, so I got the shrimp with walnut, beef/Oz plate, the salt and pepper fish and chicken chowmein.

Everything is nice. The only thing that I don’t like without telling you, they are charging customer for tips.

I post a review that says your manager should stop yelling at the staff and creating a negative environment and your response is to say that I am a rival restaurant? Look at my reviews and you'll realize that I almost always give good reviews and that I have no affiliation with any restaurant. I could have written a lot worse stuff about an eyelash in my noodles but left that outDid you ask any of your staff if the event didn't happen at 5:25pm on Friday, March 29? Why didn't you say that this behavior is unacceptable. Maybe you are part of the problem. Maybe this should be a 1 star restaurant. I definitely not going back again.

Today I ordered their signature dish - Sesame cake with onions. To my surprise it's fairly dense and firm inside. In the old days it was moist and fluffy and you could see the layers clearly. Now it's like a very dense pound cake texture. The rest of the dishes are still up to their normal high standards, but unfortunately the signature dish the Sesame cake is off.

We came here because of the high ratings, but this was a bit disappointing. Food was quite bland, no flavor, bean curds that looked more like gelatin than tofu... Maybe we misunderstood the proposal, but it was not for our taste.

The food was served quickly but the quality was poor and not fresh. Very very disappointed.1. Sauerkraut and mutton soup, it feels like water has been added2. The sesame flatbread is left over from the day before or the week before. The green onions are yellow-green.3. The fried dough sticks are very hard. It seems that the remaining fried dough sticks have been passed through the oil again to pretend that they are freshly baked...

So many options in their menu . All our choices were tasty. The service was fast. Prices are reasonable. Best of all, it's all halal. So no need to ask about the ingredients if each menu item

The place is one of the rare halal chinese places in the bay area. It is quite popular, but the service is on the slower side. However the food is mostly decently priced and tastes good if you are okay with food that is a tad oily.Parking: Multiple parking spots in a large lot catering to multiple shops.

We used to have a great experience at this restaurant until 2021 where we started noticing drastic changes. My entire extended family has been coming here for more than 25 years since we were never able find a better Halal Chinese restaurant in the Bay Area. The food used to taste excellent and came out quick and fresh. Our standard orders are the Three-flavored Fried Rice, Three-flavored Chow Mein, Honey Walnut Shrimp, Beef Noodle Soup, Salt & Pepper Fish, Chili Chicken with Garlic, and Kung Pao Beef.During our last visit though, we found the food to be quite greasy and significantly less in quantity and quality. Furthermore, the waitress brought us an incorrect item that we didn’t order. When we kindly said this wasn’t our order, she kept insisting that nobody else ordered it but us; repeatedly trying to defend herself. She did eventually replace the item with what we ordered, but the whole scene was just embarrassing and such a mood spoiler given that the people around us could clearly hear her frustration on a fault that wasn’t ours.Later on, we noticed that our bill was higher than expected. We asked for the itemized receipt but they only gave us the receipt with the total amount. To our surprise, we found that the restaurant had added an 18% Service Charge to our bill without any notification. When confronted, the lady at the counter said that “DINE-IN” means an automatic 18% Service Fee is charged to the bill regardless of whether it is one person or ten people.Honestly speaking, our entire family thinks that their food quality and customer service is getting worse by day. On top of that, there is the default 18% Service Charge that makes us think twice before walking into the restaurant. If you plan to visit this place for dine in, please be aware that 18% of the total amount (including tax) is already added as a service charge as your bill, and that too for one of the worst services you will ever get at a restaurant. Good luck!

We came here for dinner and had an excellent meal. We’ve been coming here for over a decade, and the quality is consistently great every time. We ordered the three flavor home made chow mein, beef with green onions, cumin lamb, lamb with pickled cabbage warm pot, beef with pickled cabbage warm pot, bean curd casserole, black mushrooms with green cabbage, broccoli with oyster sauce, thin sesame bread with green onion, and thick sesame bread with green onion. Everything we ordered was delicious, and we will definitely keep coming back when we’re in the Bay Area!

The food here was delicious!I had the spicy lamb and the chicken fried rice, and they automatically add 18% gratuity to your bill. The service was decent considering how busy this place was. The place is pretty big and clean. They have a private room for parties near the restroom. There's parking available, but can get packed since there are many other shops in the plaza.
